Sugarpill Birthday Girl Covered in Icing

Recently Amy from Sugarpill sent me new versions of Paperdoll and Birthday Girl to try out, so I played with them this morning.

Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Sugarpill Birthday Girl – inner 2/3 of lid
Sugarpill Paperdoll – applied to crease and outer 1/3 of lid
Sugarpill Bulletproof – applied to outer v
MAC Digit – applied to browbone
Aromaleigh Phaedra – applied to outer v
MAC Vellum – applied to browbone and inner corners of eye
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy – applied on top of Paperdoll in the crease and the outer corner of the lid
Sugarpill Paperdoll – applied on top of Pixie Epoxy
Sobe Gel Eyeliner in Blackout – applied to the upper lash line
Urban Decay Perversion – applied to outer lower lash line
Urban Decay Midnight Cowboy – applied to lower water line
Avon Glimmersticks Brow Pencil – applied to eyebrows
Flirt! It Curls Mascara in Bombshell Black

Cheeks:
Sobe Blush in Icing on the Cake

Lips:
Nyx lipliner in Purple Rain
MAC Lipstick in Sweet Thing

Today was my first time wearing Sobe’s blush in Icing on the Cake and I think it’s a gorgeous nude blush on me! This color is not yet released, as I got a sneak peek at it. However, I definitely need to purchase a full size of it!

Paperdoll looks gorgeous! What’s the difference between these versions and the old ones?

  These versions have a less matte texture and should be a bit easier to work with. The other versions were a bit more difficult to work with.

Are the new versions different than the others? I am still waiting to do my first Sugarpill order….I know I’ll be hooked and then there goes a good $100! I love that rich purple though, so pretty.

  The new versions are supposed to be easier to work with as some people had problems with the more matte original texture.

Is it my imagination or does the title of this post sound somewhat naughty?
Regardless, beautiful, as always, I loves me some purple! You’re such a pretty girl, I heart that you use so much color in your looks. Oh and I’m glad to hear your eyes are feeling better.

I’m waiting for the new formulations myself. I personally had no issues with the original formulations- in fact Paperdoll was probably my favorite shade in the collection and is one of the most creamy matte pigments I’ve come across.

I’m sure the changes are an improvement (everything I know of Amy tells me the lady knows her business!) so I’m excited to see how my favorites can be even better!

  I did find that they took a bit more care than some of the other colors, but they weren’t awful. Birthday Girl is one of my favorites :>

Cool! Maybe by the time I can afford some more Sugarpill stuff, the new formulations will be out!

But I already love the few things I have, so I can’t wait, because it’ll be really, super, crazy-awesome! I just know it!

    I’ve just had an idea. Paperdoll reminds me of the locks tee purple. I think I’ll do a series of 4 looks, one for each of my jinx wow tees Are u enjoying Cata? I really do:)
