    1. What’s on your tips?
Essie Pama, a deep pomegranate red. OPI So Hot It Berns on my toes

    2. What skincare products are you currently using?
Cleanser: Natura Bisse cream cleanser with AHA in the morning. It varies at night from Purely Beauty Simply Clear face wash to Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel. Every 3 days or so I’ll exfoliate – usually with Dermalogica Microfoliant
Daytime Moisturizer: Purely Moisture Organic Alpha Hydroxy Acid Moisturizing Cream with spf 30 by Purely Beauty
Nighttime Moisturizer: Like Phyrra, I’m still trying to find one. Lately, it’s been Amarte Aqua Veil, which is a serum. I have to put so many things on my face, I usually fall asleep at this point
Eye cream: Natura Bisse Diamond Extreme Eye Cream. When this runs out, Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream
As I have adult – and obviously incurable! – acne, I also put on a topical antibiotic and Retin-A before moisturizer
Eye makeup remover: Lierac Diopti Demaq – excellent!
Makeup Remover: Physician’s Formula Organic Wear makeup remover towelettes (phew!) These are fantastic and different and I like them better than the creamy lotion in a pump bottle. Now if only they came in better packaging than that metal canister!
Lipbalm: Pangaea Organics Pyrenees Lavender with Cardamom lip balm

    3. What are you looking forward to this weekend?
Might see a movie. Or go up to the North Shore for the Saturday farmers’ market

    4. What are you currently reading? “50 ideas about philosophy you really need to know” by Ben Dupre, and “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak

I know what you mean! I hate the idea of having to use a ton of products and would prefer a simpler routine, which is what I always strive towards.

      • Soos February 20, 2011 at 11:40 pm #

A “simpler routine” may be an impossible dream!

It was hideously voggy when we went to the North Shore on Saturday – to Waialua and Haleiwa. But we forgot the vog because the veggies at the farmer’s market were wonderful, and we ate sushi near the beach. We saw green sea turtles feeding on the limu (seaweed)! It was a lovely day!!!

    1. What’s on your tips? OPI’s DS Opulence, but I have plans to paint my nails with Orly’s Space Cadet later today.

    2. What skincare products are you currently using?
Cleanser: Clarisonic. My face is doing the ‘initial purge’ thing, which is one of the reasons I haven’t been posting EoTDs. When people say “I wish my skin looked like it did when I was 15!” I think they’ve selectively forgotten all the acne.
Daytime and Nighttime Moisturizer: Olay Regenerist Serum (face/neck), Body Shop Spiced Vanilla body butter (hands, elbows, feet). I don’t know why people use different products for day and night (there’s got to be a good reason), but this particular combination seems to work for me.
Makeup Remover: Almay Oil-Free for my eye makeup/mascara, Walgreen’s Make-up Remover Wipes for general face
Lipbalm: not using one. I don’t know why so much of my skin seems to dry and crack like a shedding snake, but my lips don’t have that problem.

    3. What are you looking forward to this weekend? Re-reading Downbelow Station (or starting it), rewatching Caprica (just finished rewatching Jericho), and swatching. More swatching. Always more swatching…

    4. What are you currently reading? I’m just finishing up the Chanur saga, by C J Cherryh. Next I’ll be starting Downbelow Station, by the same author.

    5. What are your three colors of choice for this Spring? Fuchsia, turquoise, and silver. (I’ve got a whole Miami-Vice-esque thing going on. But no pet alligator.)

    Lipbalm: Blistex Deep Renewal
    3. What are you looking forward to this weekend?
My cousin and his GF are in from Chicago, we’re going to a wedding in Redondo Beach. Also going to hit the Inglot store in Newport, so that should be fun.
    4. What are you currently reading?
No time for reading any books right now, trying to organize for a (hopeful) move soon. Mostly reading magazines that I haven’t gotten to yet.
    5. What are your three colors of choice for this Spring?
Hmm… I don’t usually change my color palette too much by season, but I have been wearing a bit more pink than usual. Otherwise, my three favorite colors are blue, purple and green. Lighter or brighter versions of all of them will likely be in high use.

    Have a great weekend!

    • Phyrra February 20, 2011 at 11:27 pm #

I know clean up mode :)
If my skin doesn’t like it, I either offer it to friends who want it, or Ray or Dave finish it off.
