Enchanted Forest

I wanted to wear green today, in honor of Ana of Lipsticks & Lightsabers. So I had fun putting together this bright look. First I put down Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Then I used Fairylite (an opalescent ivory shade, Fyrinnae Nijiro would work too) from my eyebrows to my crease. Next I used MAC Sweet & Punchy (a bright yellow green, Fyrinnae OMGWTF is a similar shade) on my lid and crease, blending it up onto my browbone (since I have hooded eyes) so that the color is visible when my eye is open. Then I used Sugarpill Afterparty (semi-pearly bright turquoise) on the outer lid and crease to create a teal shade. I used a Vincent Longo Green (deep forest green) from the Paradise Love to deepen this shade. Finally I finished up the crease by using MAC Prussian (a creamy matte deep sea blue). I used a bit of MAC Crystal Avalanche to highlight under the brow.

After I did my eyes (excluding the mascara and brows), I put concealer under my eyes. Then I used liquid foundation on my t-zone and blended outward. I did a bit of contouring on my cheek, and added a pop of blush. Then I lined and filled in my lips with the Tangerine lip pencil and topped it off with Backstage Kisses lip lustre. After that I did my brows and my last step was to add my mascara.

Vincent Longo Green – outer lid and crease on top of Afterparty

MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack – upper lash line
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion – upper and lower water line
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero – to define brows
Covergirl LashBlast Luxe in Black Royal
Flirt! It Curls Mascara in Bombshell Black

Cheeks:
Meow blush in Heliconia

Lips:
Nyx lipliner in Tangerine
Fyrinnae Lip Lustre in Backstage Kisses

Face:
Too Faced Concealer in vanilla – under eyes
Too Faced Amazing Face Liquid Foundation in Vanilla Creme – on t-zone

You look absolutely amazing with this combination of colors. I think green is such a difficult color to pull off (at least for me) but you’ve paired it with such a pretty combo of blush and lip color. Haha it reminded me that I lost my favorite gloss at the clubs last night; no worries. I will just have to get me a tube of Backstage Kisses instead.

I know I’ve said it, but I just adore it when you bring the crease color higher. Add to that this color combo looking glam on you and you get a perfect face.
