Vincent Longo Sun Moon Stars Eyeshadow Trios Review

I’ve had two of the Vincent Longo Sun Moon Stars Eyeshadow Trios for quite a while now. I picked up Chariot Wings at a Hautelook sale (affiliate link), and the Paradise Love trio was a gift from a friend. I’ve not heard too much about Vincent Longo, so I wanted to review them.

Price:
$30 for 1.4 oz net weight, though I purchased Chariot Wings on Hautelook for $10.50.

The instructions tell you how to use the shadows.
1. Apply the Sun shade from lash line to brow.
2. Apply the Star shade to define the lash line and shade the outer corner of the eyes.
3. Apply the Moon shade into the crease to accent.

Chariot Wings Trio
Peach (sun) – Lavender (moon) – Plum (stars)

Paradise love Trio
Beige-Pink (sun) – Green (moon) – Navy (stars)

Does it live up to its claims?
Yes. The shadows do have a subtle pearl. They’ve got a silky texture. They’re nicely pigmented. They do wear incredibly well.

This is Peach (sun) applied to the inner 3/4 of lid and inner crease. BftE Rome was used on the outer crease and blended inward. Aromaleigh Milky Way was used on the browbone to highlight and the inner v.

I applied the Peach to my lid as I wanted a peach shade, then I used Plum (stars) in the crease and lavender (moon) on the browbone. It ended up too dark, so I used Blanc Type to lighten it up.

While I’ve worn the Chariot Wings trio a few times, I’ve only swatched the Paradise Love trio and I need to remedy that and wear them soon. They’re lovely.

Would I purchase again?
Yes, but only if I can get them on sale or on Hautelook, unless there’s a trio I just HAVE to have. Unfortunately, the product swatches on the website are TERRIBLE, so it’s really hard to tell if you will like a trio or not. Additionally, the Chariot Wings trio, which I find gorgeous, appears to have been discontinued.

One of the products was purchased by me and the other was a gift from a friend. All opinions are my own.

What lovely colours, thanks for the swatches. I have never tried Vincent Longo before. I’m really loving the teal eyebrows!
