Wet n’ Wild Silent Treatment – Look & Swatches

The Wet n’ Wild Silent Treatment eye color trio is a really nice trio. I can definitely see why it’s been so popular. It was hard for me to find! The lid shade is a pretty taupe, the crease is a dark espresso brown and the brow color is a shimmery peach-beige. I think I’m finally appreciating browns and taupes, as I really like the colors in this palette. Like the other recent Wet n’ Wild palettes I’ve tried, it’s had a lot of pigmentation and good texture.

Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Silent Treatment taupe shimmer – lid
Silent Treatment espresso brown – crease
Silent Treatment peach shimmer – browbone
Hard Candy 1000 Lashes Primer
Flirt! It Curls Mascara in Bronze Belle
BE Buxom Mascara
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Midnight Cowboy – lower water line
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Stray Dog – lower lash line

Very pretty! I just got this trio, but have yet to try it out. I have been so happy with all the WnW purchases I have made recently! :)

This was the only one of the palettes that I picked up, right when they came out. So glad I did!

That brown for the crease is SOoOOOOOooo highly pigmented – I was NOT expecting that at all!

I can’t wait to get my hands on those 8 pan palettes!

Love what you did with this! I picked this palette up the other day. Great colors. I found the crease shade a little difficult to blend.

If you put down your browbone shade first, then the crease, you’ll be able to blend it out easier

Very pretty! It reminds be a lot of a POP Beauty trio that I have and looooove (except this one is probably cheaper, though I got a sweet deal on what I have through Hautelook)

It is! It’s normally more of a lid shade for me.

  11. Skulda February 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm #

I like the colours, but the browbone colour turned out so dark on your lovely pale skin. It looks to dark too me. : / Maybe it looks different IRL.

Yeah it is darker than I normally wear. It’s more of a lid shade for me.

I usually prefer colorful makeup, but I really, REALLY love taupes, especially ones with a slightly purple-y undertone. That one looks awesome!

I see you’ve been enjoying WnW lately. They’re great and inexpensive, not to mention they’re getting a lot of formulation improvements this year, so I’m glad you’re having fun with them :3

    • Phyrra February 7, 2011 at 10:03 pm #

Their formula is really nice for a drugstore brand.

  15. cinseven13 February 4, 2011 at 8:12 pm #

Pretty shades. I’ll have to peek at the WnW section next time I’m out. I did buy two of the holiday palettes, but of course broke the purple one before I even opened the package. I’ve forgotten how to be careful with pressed shadows!

    • Phyrra February 7, 2011 at 10:03 pm #

Doh! yeah. I dropped the I Dream of Greenie trio I picked up.

  16. SilhouetteScreams February 7, 2011 at 3:38 am #

I think I’m finally starting to appreciate taupes too, because I actually love the look of the ‘lid’ shade.

I’m with you on that. First it was Concrete Minerals Lolita and Fyrinnae Damn Paladins, then a few other shades, here and there.

Wet n Wild have really upped their game lately which has me buying other products from the company until they bought out the color icon collection the only product I bought was their nail polishes but since coming out with the color icon eyeshadows I tried one and now everytime I hear theres new pallets comming out I track them down. I manage to track down the 8 color icon pallets down.

    • Phyrra February 15, 2011 at 10:54 pm #

      Yeah they’re awesome!
