At the suggestion of a sweet friend, I decided to try this Korres Milk Proteins 3 in 1 cleanser that I purchased at Apothica.com. He suggested it during one of my skin’s winter freak outs, as it’s supposed to be very gentle on sensitive skin.
The Website Claims:
Ideal for those of all skin types, especially dry and sensitive, who want a multitasking cleansing, toning, and makeup removing product. It instantly cleanses the skin of impurities, leaving it soft, and clean – never dry.
The Ingredients are:
Water, Helianthus Annuus (hybrid Sunflower) Oil, Squalane, Carthamus Tinctorius (hybrid Safflower) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Macadamia Ternifolia Oil, Dicaprylyl Ether, Pentylene Glycol, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Olivoil Hydrolysed Wheat Protein, Sucrose Stearate, Lactose, Whey Protein, Arginine, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Ascorbic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Glyceryl Oleate, Glyceryl Stearate, Isohexadecane Methylparaben, PEG-8, Polysorbate-80, Propylparaben, Tocopherol, Sodium Acrylate/acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Sodium Gluconate.
Price:
$21 for 8.45 fl. oz.
Does it live up to its claims?
Yes. It’s a very nice, gentle cleanser. I don’t normally use toners after I cleanse, so I can’t speak as to how well toners work in general, but I do feel like this does a great job of cleansing without irritating my skin. It has no problems getting my makeup off, which is nice, too. I use this as a facial cleanser with a wash cloth to remove facial makeup. I haven’t tried it on my eyes.
Would I purchase again?
Probably. It’s a wonderful, gentle cleanser for me for when my skin is flipping out. I think the price isn’t bad considering the size, too. In short, it works well as a cleanser on my skin and does what it’s supposed to.
Have you tried Korres? If so, what do you think of them? I believe this is the first product I’ve ever tried by the brand.
Product purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

Hello Cotton
I have their primer and I adore it! It’s so fresh and light. It smells delicious and really wakes me up in the morning. I rarely put on foundation, but when I do it goes on so smoothly! I’ve actually seen a reduction of redness on my face after using it.
I’ve never tried the cleanser, but it sounds neat!
Sounds like a nice primer!
I really have no experience with Korres, save for a few samples I got from Sephora a while back. I liked their Wild Rose moisturizer/primer, but didn’t honestly think it was much different than my other moisturizers. Also have samples of their Guava body butter–which doesn’t smell at all like guava, and sort of surprised me.
But every time I walk into a Sephora, I have to try the Korres body butter in Jasmine. Jasmine is one of my all-time favourite scents, and it’s such a pretty, true jasmine! Not sure I can justify the price-tag, though.

Maybe look for a 20% off sale with Sephora or another site? Oh! Apothica has a 20% off sale through tonight and they carry some Korres.
I haven’t tried any of their products myself, but I’ve heard generally good things.
I don’t think this would be a good match for me, as I tend to have quite oily skin, which is not at all sensitive, so I need to bust out the industrial cleansers (I exaggerate, of course). I’m generally hesitant to use any of the ‘creamy’ or oil-based cleansers for fear of breaking out. Glad it helps with your sensitive skin though
Thanks, me too
I have never tried Korres beyond lip balms. But this sounds really nice!

I’ve not tried their lip balms. Do you have a favorite flavor?
I LOVE Korres! I’ve tried their Oak and Quercetin collection and it feels so great on my skin. I’m also using the Evening Primrose Eye Cream. I love their natural ingredients! I have sensitive skin as well and I’ve been using the Yes to Cucumbers cleanser. Might be really great for you since you have sensitive and dry skin as well
My skin isn’t really dry, it’s… it’s a pain
It’s slightly oily on the t-zone, so I guess that makes it combination skin. Though lately I’ve only had the tiniest bit of oily on my chin/nose/cheeks/forehead. If I wear no makeup, I end up really shiny on those spots.
LOL I feel you! Skincare is tough when its constantly changing from season to season. I usually problem treat the dry areas…and I actually use Korres Quercetin & Oak day cream for that and Yes to Cucumbers moisturizer.
I want to try this, but most places who ship it internationally want me to pay more for shipping than I’m paying for the product. :c
That’s sucky!
The Korres Quince Body Butter is a favorite. I also like 2 of the body washes: Basil Lemon and Mint Tea.

The lemon sounds interesting!
This sounds great- though it is pretty much a blend of different oils. I checked beautypedia to see what they had to say, and they do point out that in the long run, there’s no reason to choose this over pure sunflower or canola oil. Interesting thought- wanna test that out for us?

I keep meaning to try an oil cleansing method, but I always forget to put some of the extra virgin olive oil i have into another container in the bathroom.
