Last time I purchased my favorite daytime moisturizer, mark For Goodness Face Antioxidant Skin Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30, I received a free gift with purchase. It was a mark Juice Gems flavored high shine gloss.
Mango Tango sounded good and it looked like the color would be a peachy-mango shade, so quite flattering for spring.

Does it live up to its claims?
No. This is probably the worst lipgloss that I’ve tried in a long time. I have the shade Juicy Mango Tango. It looks like clear gloss on my lips. There’s no tint to it, so my pale lips show through. I think it looks horrible on me.
Would I purchase?
No. I’m glad this was a free gift with purchase because otherwise I would feel like I’d wasted my money. This was a seriously awful gloss. I’d expected a lot more from mark, but this time I was really let down. I wouldn’t purchase this or recommend this shade to anyone.

Did it at least taste good?
The smell was pleasant
How was the texture? That is, was it really sticky? That sucks though. I really expected some tint to show through.

I don’t remember the texture to be honest, I wore it twice and was irritated by the lack of pigmentation.
Totally weird that they make it SO pigmented in the tube and then nada. You would think they would have just made it a clear gloss and saved their money on the color

Huh. I have both Pomegranate and Mango Tango, and while they are on the sheer side, I did get some tint (I use mine in the summer for a casual daytime gloss.) That’s odd. Hate that they didn’t work for you.

Eh, it happens. You can see from my pic above, my lips look naked. I couldn’t see a discernible tint on my lips.
Yeah, it does. You’re defintely right- in the pic it looks just like a plain ol’ clear gloss or balm.

Wow that stinks
Being a mark. rep, I have a ton of these glosses. I like most of them, but Mango Tango was my least fave of all I’ve tried. I gave it to my sister lol. The color did show on me, even with my dark pink lips, but it was just.. I dunno, the texture or something I didn’t like. I didn’t like the pearliness either, I guess I like my Juice Gems to be clear.
My all-time faves are Juicy Pomegranate and Juicy Raspberry, both smell, taste, and look gorgeous on me. I also just rediscovered my Juicy Cherry (which I guess has since been discontinued), and I still use my Juicy Snow Peach from time to time. I love them all for their smell, taste, and staying power. <3
