I love this! How did you do the blue color in your hair?

      • Phyrra

I bleached up the lock of hair on the left side of my face, using a violet bleach.

I used Jerome Russel Punky Color in Turquoise (described as a medium teal blue) on all of my hair. My natural hair color is a very dark brown that is sometimes mistaken for black. Putting turquoise on it turns my hair blue-black.

I put a cap on my hair and left the color in for 3 hours.

I rinsed my hair forever until the water seemed like it was running clear.

I used the L’Oreal EverPure Moisture Shampoo (a sulfate free shampoo).

I used Ion Color Brilliance After Color Hair Treatment. It’s supposed to restore the pH level, close the cuticles, eliminate oxidizing agents and protect the hair.

Wow, the colors are so intense! Despire being gorgeous, I think these colors would look gross on me. I’m envious of your ability to look fabulous in any colors!

On a scale from 1 to 10 where 10 is the BEST eyeshadow that you ever used how do Inlgot shadows rate? I have a lot of eye shadow and I’m trying to decide if it’s worth it for me to buy more. Thanks Phyrra!

      • Phyrra

It’s really hard to rate because I’ve used them only a few times.

Hmm, if you say MAC is a 5, Urban Decay is a 6, Fyrinnae is a 10, I’d probably put these around 8.

I think they’r worth it, especially if you buy 10 or more at once and get them for $4.50 each.

gorgeous look! i just got my inglot palette (albeit in much more neutral colors) and it seems they don’t apply the way i’m used to applying MAC shadows. that is, i think they don’t respond well to “patting” the color on. i’ve had better luck with swiping.

did you find this? i’m curious the methods you used to do this look. maybe it’s a combination of techniques depending on the inglot finish. any advise is appreciated!

      thanks!!

      • Phyrra

I would love to see your neutral swatches! I was debating putting together a neutral palette in inglot colors.

I find the Inglot work well if you brush, less if you pat, though for this I brushed, and then later patted a bit more on.

WANT. Then again I am a fanatic for all things chartreuse/yellow-green . . . Love it!!

      • Phyrra

        Yay me too!

    • rabidmoon

Pretty! I do love greens….ironically they do sell it here in Finland, but just not this far north. Next time I’m in the south of the country I’ll have to track them down. :)

      • Phyrra

I hope you find some colors you like :)

    • Emily

Phyrra I was wondering…would you be able to compare Inglot #59 to Fyrinnae OMGWTF? They seem really similar and I really don’t want to end up buying two identical colors if I can help it. I love the look, btw! :-)

      • Phyrra

I will try to do it for you soon. They are similar, but not exact.

WOW. I’m not sure if you remember but I am a green fanatic. I love them dark, bright, leaning blue and leaning yellow – I just adore green. I really like the vibrancy of the Inglot on the inner eye. It seems like a pretty unique shade. Your hair is looking great!

      • Phyrra

Thank you! How are you doing?

    • http://www.solsticescents.com Solstice Scents

Doing great! Have been swamped busy and a little MIA in the comments on my favorite blogs, but always check you and Grey. I’m getting my schedule a little more under control so hoping to come out of the woodwork with comments a little more often. :)

      • Phyrra

Yay, glad to hear that you’re working on your schedule :)

    • Angela
