So yesterday I received my Too Faced Vintage Sale products.
I picked up the 3 shades in the Sparkler Glamour Gloss that I didn’t own (Pink Bling, Violet Vapour, Diamond Dust) because I love the Sapphire Spark shade that I have and $3 is a great price for those glosses. I also picked up 2 of the Metallic Meteors, one in Magenta Moon and one in Super Nova. Finally, I nabbed a single eye shadow in Mess in a Dress.
Shade Descriptions:
Pink Bling – iridescent candy pink sparkler
Violet Vapour – iridescent lavender sparkler
Diamond Dust – iridescent sparkling mint
Magenta Moon – magenta
Super Nova – peach pink
Mess in a Dress – hot pink
I really love the glosses and I’ll swatch them for you some time in the future.
Mess in a dress really is a gorgeous shade of hot pink.
Magenta Moon was disappointing to me because it was mostly brown with just a hint of magenta. I really wish that there had been more magenta in this shade, as opposed to just a bit of a glow.
Super Nova is lovely, you can just barely see a hint of a peachy-pink glow, which again, was disappointing to me. I’d like it better if it had more of a 40/60 split between the peach and the dark, or a 50/50. But it is quite pretty.
I decided to swatch it next to Geek Chic’s Nerdgasm, which I do believe is safe to use on the eyes, as well as on the cheeks

Once again, I’m happy with what I purchased from the Too Faced Vintage sale. They always have great products for incredibly cheap.

I LOVE the glosses! Too Faced has been clearing these babies out for awhile here in Canada through our Winners Stores and I was able to get all 4 shades for something like $5 each. The only downside is they don’t come sealed, so I had to go through all the boxes to find one that wasn’t “tested”. So for the ones I ended up buying, it’s a good thing it takes a bunch of twists for the product to push up so I think people thought these ones were broken because no gloss reached the top yet

I’d be really interested to see swatches of the gloss. They’re still available on the Too Faced website for $3, and while the last thing in the world I need is another pink gloss, I’m definitely intrigued by a mint-green.

Every time they have the Vintage Sale I look at the swirled baked eye shadows and almost cave. But, I’m kind of glad I didn’t. I was afraid they might be too dark.. I like them, I just know that I would rarely use them. Mess in a Dress is really gorgeous though.

I got the Megenta Moon and Super Nova too, along with Moonbeam and Deep Space (such a pretty and unique blue shade!) I also got a kit ( something involving the word pretty.) I’m so pleased with my order that I’m thinking about placing another order before the sale ends and while my 20% cupon is still active.
