Quite a while ago I ordered some Alpha Hydrox products, which included the Alpha Hydrox Foaming Face Wash.
The Website Claims:
Soap-free. Fragrance-free. pH balanced. Alcohol-free. Oil-free.
Cleanses while maintaining skin’s moisture level.
Leaves skin looking and feeling soft, smooth and fresh.
Safe and gentle for eye makeup removal.
Removes impurities and environmental pollutants.
Rinses clean, leaving no irritating residue.
The Ingredients are:
Water, Glycerin, Decyl Polyglucoside, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, PEG 200 Hydrogenated Glyceryl Palmate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG 7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Citric Acid, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, PEG 3 Distearate, Ammonium Hydroxide, Sodium Chloride
Price:
$7.49 for 6 fl. oz. at Drugstore.com
Does it live up to its claims?
Yes. I think this is a really nice cleanser. It does foam up nicely so that if you’re used to seeing suds, you feel like you’re getting enough suds to get clean. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I’ve not tried it for eye makeup removal, though it says it is safe enough for that use. It doesn’t dry my skin out. It does work with my Clarisonic. I’ve used this on alternating weeks with my Yes to Blueberries cleanser (which is still my favorite right now), and I like the results I get with it. This cleanser is meant to be used with Anti-Wrinkle treatment products, such as Retinol ResQ, but I think you can use it even if you’re not using such a treatment.
Would I purchase again?
Yes, without hesitation. I like this cleanser a lot and I really like the products that I’ve tried in the Alpha Hydrox line. I like that it leaves my skin feeling clean without feeling stripped and dry. I also think that at $7.49 for 6 fl. oz, it’s a steal.
Have you tried any Alpha Hydrox products? If so, what did you think?
Product purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

Hello Cotton
I’m not a big fan of foam, myself. so I usually go for minimal/no suds options.

The prices are fantastic.
This seems like a pretty basic cleanser and I acutally prefer that. It seems like the more the claims that cleansers make and such, the less they do for my skin. I still need to try the Yes to… line!

I’ve also used the Advanced 10% Glycolic Acid AHA lotion. It is a great exfoliating lotion, but isn’t so strong that my sensitive skin freaks out when I use it. It is also ridiculously cheap. I know I paid less than 10 dollars for a 6 oz bottle. You could probably use it as a body lotion on dry or dull spots too.

Yeah their line seems to be very good, especially for the price.
Love this cleanser as well. I have pretty sensitive skin and it def feels great and doesn’t irritate! I alternate between this and my Yes to Carrots cleanser
