1. How did you come up with your blog name?
Personally I feel that “rainbows” are a big part of my life, so I knew that I wanted that infused with my name. Then one day “retro” and “urban” popped in my head and voila…I ended up with RetroUrbanRainbow

2. What’s your favorite type of outfit to put together?
It all depends on my mood, but I love getting fancy. My favorite OOTD’s are when I get glammed up to go out!

3. What’s your favorite makeup product that not a lot of people know about?
I don’t have a secret magical product. But I’m on the hunt for it.

4. Do you have any pets? If so, tell me about them.
I have 3 cats. I love to them death! Einstein is 6, Lily is 3 and Peyton is 10 months old. They are my babies.

5. What’s your favorite low end makeup brand? High end? Indie?
I’m pretty much obsessed with Urban Decay. If I could afford it I would own EVERYTHING. haha. As for low end I’ve become surprised by Wet ‘n Wild. I don’t use much indie brands. I always say I’m going to try out all these companies, but lack of money always stops me.

6. What product have you tried that did not live up to its hype?
The brand Hard Candy. I have heard good things about them, but I’m just not impressed. I have tried and tried…and failed.

7. What beauty product can you just not live without?
Obsessive Compulsive Lip Tar. They go everywhere I go.

8. What’s your favorite way to accessorize?
With bright crazy colors.

9. What’s one piece of advice that you would like to offer to new bloggers?
Don’t follow anyone’s guidelines!
