I’ve got Evil Shades newest collection, the Arcane Collection, swatched for you. I just got a new camera, so I’m still learning the settings.
Amulet is slightly more wine/burgundy tone as opposed to the brown it shows up as in the picture. Voodoo is more pink in real life.
Just when I thought I couldn’t need another teal, I see Mystisizm. It’s so amazing in person.
This picture was taken with my old camera, Amulet looks truer to color here.
I actually think I used the wrong pink for Voodoo.
Anyway, Evil Shades is having a sale this weekend (April 22-April 25). All lip products are Buy 2 get 1 free.
Let me know what you think of the swatches. I’ve continued to play with the new camera and found a way to add in red, since my camera (and apparently my entire house) leans blue.

This collection is a really nice one! I like voodoo (partially because red shadows always get some interest from me) but Mysticism, Dreamspeaker, Conjure and Potion are also really cool.

Oh man, I MUST have Mysticism! Just placed an order for that and 3 lippies–Bane, Stiletto, and Sorrow. On sale, I’d love to give ‘em a whirl. Super excited! Although I’ve got to say, without your swatches I never would have considered this company. Their site is awfully strange to navigate. I wish it were just a little simpler.

Ummm….I think I might have sent you the wrong color for Voodoo….I was clearing out the Dc’d colors as I was putting up the arcane’s. I think I might have sent you Lucia by mistake. Voodoo is a straight up pink, bright but not red. I’ll send you a new one so you can compare.

For what it’s worth–I got the order I placed because of this post, and Mysticizm is just as lovely as I thought it might be. It’s such a complex color! And the sample I got, Twisted, is also incredibly complex and lovely. Just my kind of colors.
Phyrra, I noticed that you haven’t really done a full-on review (or at least not a recent one that I found in my search, which was admittedly shallow) of the Evil Shades lippies. I am IN LOVE with them, particularly Devilista, which looks better and feathers less than a $14 clinique lipstick that I own in the same color range. I bought the three of them on a lark because they were on sale and I just SO impressed with them.
I’m planning one on the new Wicked glosses. I love the lipsticks.
