Morgana Cryptoria Lip Swatches

I did some lip swatches of some of the new Morgana Cryptoria Lipsticks that I picked up.



This is Gilded Lime with just a touch of Avon’s 24k gold gloss over it.


This is Gilded Ballerina, all on its own.


This is Violet Banana on its own.


This is Fire in the Sky, with just a dab of Too Faced Sparkler gloss in Pink Bling dabbed on the center.


This is Tangerine Twist on its own.

    I’m loving Tangerine Twist! I’ve been wanting to get into the orange lip trend, but all the orange lipsticks have seemed to garish with my skin. This one looks perfect. Thank you!

    That Violet Banana is a must have for me! I need a sparkly peachy yellow gold and I also want a good sparkling lilac. Morgana kills me with her lipsticks, they’re uh-may-zing!

    I like ‘em all. :) What would you suggest for someone looking for just everyday (school) looks? My skin tone is a lot like yours, although turning slightly to medium, and I do turn pink very easily. In addition, I have red/auburn hair and brown eyes with green accents.

      For everyday looks? Probably a shade like Clay Bakin’ or Rose Plum or Sunset Peach or Roses & Violets. Though when I was in high school I wore a shade very similar to blackberry.

    I recently got samples of Fire in the Sky, Gilded Lime, and Tangerine Twist.

    Definitely getting a full size of Tangerine Twist, but the other two aren’t as awesome on me. Gilded Lime is better, but probably not something I’ll wear out of the house.

    Your swatch of Violet Banana intrigues me, though, it looks more like gold than yellow, so now I think I need to try it.

    Violet Banana looks a little patchy to me but your swatch of Gilded Ballerina makes me so impatient for my Morgana order!

      I applied Violet Banana with a lip brush, so it was definitely thinner. I usually will apply a lipstick with the tube and then try to neaten the edges with a lip brush.

      I applied thin layers, and my poor lips felt abused from doing so many lip swatches in a row so I know they were feeling rough by the end.

    I LOVE the eye look, especially the yellow underneath the eyes. The green lip I dont think I could use that anywhere, except on Halloween. Lol. But I really like the ballerina lip gloss
