Healthy Glow

Today’s look didn’t turn out quite the way I wanted it to. Now I’ve got ideas on how to try this again. I was going for a white gold on the lid and mixed a few shades and it was still too much of a pale gold shade. I do love how Astral Ways worked as a cheek highlighter and on the browbone.

I started with TFSI. Then I applied Indianwood to the lid. Next, I applied Apparition on the lid on top of Indianwood. I next used Frost on top of Apparition. Then I used Psychic on top of Frost, and then blended. I used Royal Pride in the crease and on the outer corner of the lid. I used Astral Rays on the browbone. I lined my upper lash line with Sabochan, then used Matte Black along the lower water line. I defined my brows with the Golden Blonde brow pencil and softened the lines with a stiff angled eye shadow brush. Last, I used my two favorite mascaras together.

The Korres Wild Rose Concealer in Beige is really too dark on my skin, but I picked it up from Hautelook to give it a try. However, the texture is really nice on it. I think I made it work ok, since my foundation covered it up.

Hmmm. You may not have gotten what you were looking for, but this is definitely really nice. I like the softness of the crease color!

It’s lovely, even though isn’t what you wanted!!

        Thanks Cin!

That’s so cool how you used the bronzer for your face and your eyes. I’ve seen people do it before and it just looks too monochromatic, but the way you did it is awesome. Of course I wouldn’t expect any less from you, haha. :)

I did add a VERY light dusting to my forehead, chin and nose, to give a bit of color there, too.

I think it’s a lovely combination. Do you ever wear red lipstick? I’ve never seen you use it.

      • Phyrra

I do actually! I just haven’t for a while. It used to be that I’d wear red all the time.

The eye shadows still turned out to look great.

        Thanks Kimberly ;)

I loves it! I also love your earrings. :D

      A very lovely look!

I was just thinking, that it would also be nice to see a photo of the things you used in your FOTD. You know, just a photo at the end of the entry with all the eyeshadows etc. in one place. Maybe it’s just me, but it would help to see where which color was put and how it looks in use as opposed to just a swatch or in the container.

Even if it isn’t what you wanted, it is still very pretty! You look great!

Perhaps not what you had in mind, but i love this on you :)

I think it turned out really pretty! Your lashes look extra long and thick today, did you do anything different? How do you like the LaVanila sunscreen? Is it really thick or would it be good for sensitive skin that is breakout prone? How does it handle the heat and sweating? Sorry for all the questions!
