Back in February Nyx was on sale at Hautelook, so I picked up a few things. Among them was the Nyx Grow Lash Mascara.

Grow lash serum helps lashes grow stronger while instantly providing precise, long lasting definition to the eye. Sweep long and full mascara onto lashes afterward to help lashes grow stronger while instantly creating a thicker, more beautiful look.

Does it live up to its claims?
As far as I can tell, no. It did not make my lashes grow stronger or longer anymore than the liquid liner did. As a mascara I didn’t care for how it made my lashes look, so I could’t wear this mascara on its own. I just don’t feel there was any noticeable difference in my lashes from using either of the Nyx grow lash products.
Would I purchase again?
Definitely not. I didn’t feel like this worked at all. I was disappointed that it didn’t live up to its claims. I’m very glad I didn’t pay full price for this set.

I know I said it yesterday, but I’d just like to reiterate: Thank you, once again, for evaluating the effectiveness of this as a lash-growing product. So many people skip that part of it, or review these things right away, before they’d have the chance to evaluate that particular trait of multi-tasking lash-growth items. I was so excited to read reviews of these products both as lash growers and as liner/mascara. <3

Oddly, the list of ingredients for this stuff reads more like a moisturizer (and not a bad one) but even odder- I don’t see anything in the list that would even give the mascara color. Oh well, at least I have you to test it out for me before I go blowing my money (though I’m sorry you had to!)
