Shiro Cosmetics has released their new collection, the Science Collection! It’s got a Portal theme. And of course, I now have all the colors swatched for you!

Because we can is a favorite of mine. It’s a gorgeous VEGAN pink that I feel the camera just can’t possibly do justice.
Thinking with portals – An orange with blue sparkles. You can’t go wrong with that!
A Neat Gun – this is such a neat blue with pink sparkles
Beta – A deep, cool green.
Deadly Neurotoxin – such a deep, complex green-olive-brown shade with shimmer
Impossible – A neutral gold that has pretty red and blue sparks
Outright Fabrication – an unusual white with pink glitter
Party Escort – OMG awesome dark grey with sparkles
Shall not be mourned – really neat metallic blackened brass with hints of gold and olive
Triumph – a really fun metallic caramel shade

When swatching and wearing these colors, you can tell that they’re the same buttery smooth formula of all Shiro shadows. They’ve got great pigmentation, unusual color combinations, and have great longevity for wear. When playing with this collection I was struck again by the thought of how wonderful these colors are and how they’re reminiscent of Aromaleigh.

I’m really happy with this collection. I love the Portal theme, from having played Portal & Portal 2. I think Caitlin’s interpretation of the colors is Fantastic.

I’m definitely picking a up a few from this collection! Once the Heart Containers are back online, i’m going to get Unsatisfactory Mark and Still Alive (which matches a shirt I just bought XD). This post has made me now want Shall Not Be Mourned and You Were Adopted as well. I need some neutrals in my life, so I might pick up Shoes for Orphans as well (though I’m trying to decide between it and Brock the Rock).

Do you know how many applications you can get out of the little sample bags? I’ve never tried this brand before and want to test it out, but not sure if the samples are worth it and I should just get the bigger size.
Honestly, I don’t know. I don’t think I’ve ever finished a sample baggie since I’m constantly trying new things. Their samples are very generous in my opinion.
