Because we can is a favorite of mine. It’s a gorgeous VEGAN pink that I feel the camera just can’t possibly do justice.

Thinking with portals – An orange with blue sparkles. You can’t go wrong with that!

A Neat Gun – this is such a neat blue with pink sparkles

Beta – A deep, cool green.

Deadly Neurotoxin – such a deep, complex green-olive-brown shade with shimmer

Impossible – A neutral gold that has pretty red and blue sparks

Outright Fabrication – an unusual white with pink glitter

Party Escort – OMG awesome dark grey with sparkles

Shall not be mourned – really neat metallic blackened brass with hints of gold and olive

Triumph – a really fun metallic caramel shade

You were adopted – lovely deep blue

My favorites:
Because we can, Thinking with portals, Shall not be mourned, A neat gun, Party escort, Beta, Impossible, Triumph, Outright fabrication, Still alive

When swatching and wearing these colors, you can tell that they’re the same buttery smooth formula of all Shiro shadows. They’ve got great pigmentation, unusual color combinations, and have great longevity for wear. When playing with this collection I was struck again by the thought of how wonderful these colors are and how they’re reminiscent of Aromaleigh.

Wearing Because We Can, Thinking With Portals & Party Escort

I’m really happy with this collection. I love the Portal theme, from having played Portal & Portal 2. I think Caitlin’s interpretation of the colors is Fantastic.

What do you think of the Science Collection?

Some products were purchased by me and others were samples sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.

I’m definitely picking a up a few from this collection! Once the Heart Containers are back online, i’m going to get Unsatisfactory Mark and Still Alive (which matches a shirt I just bought XD). This post has made me now want Shall Not Be Mourned and You Were Adopted as well. I need some neutrals in my life, so I might pick up Shoes for Orphans as well (though I’m trying to decide between it and Brock the Rock).

Also the promo picture really is incredible. One of these days (when I’m not going to work :P) I’m doing that eye look.

    • Cari

Do you know how many applications you can get out of the little sample bags? I’ve never tried this brand before and want to test it out, but not sure if the samples are worth it and I should just get the bigger size.

      • Phyrra

Honestly, I don’t know. I don’t think I’ve ever finished a sample baggie since I’m constantly trying new things. Their samples are very generous in my opinion.

    • http://eyeconicmakeup.blogspot.com/ Heather

ahh Phyrra you’re amazing for swatching all these!

I’m about to order some samples from shiro for the first time. Thanks for all the swatches, they’re really helpful! My problem is choosing which colors I want. They’re all so beautiful! I also adore the companion cube makeup bag. Goodbye money…
