This is what Dave has dubbed my clean look. It’s very ‘no makeup’, despite the bright pink lip. Also, yesterday I went and got my roots done by Lori, my stylist, at Cameo Salon. So you can probably tell my hair looks lighter, though all she did was lighten to match my hair. I’ll be getting the back trimmed next week.
I did my makeup very different today than I normally do. I started with the LaVanile SPF 40 face cream (I REALLY must review this soon. It’s awesome! It doesn’t burn when used around my eyes.) on my eyes, face, neck and chest. I let this sink in for about 10 minutes. Then I applied Estee Lauder Double Wear in Shell on my face and my eyes (I normally don’t do my eyes) with my finger tips, blending it out with my finger tips. Then I blended it out further with the e.l.f. stipple brush. I dusted a VERY light amount of Laura Geller’s Balance n’ Brighten foundation in Porcelain on top on the face and the eyes with the Real Techniques stipple brush. Next I brushed my eyebrow hair into place and then I defined my brows with an Ulta Golden Blonde brow pencil. I softened the lines of the pencil with my stiff angled eye shadow brush. I added the Tokidoki Bronzer in Royal Pride to my crease with a fluffy eye shadow brush similar to the MAC 224 and some Royal Pride to my cheeks with the Real Techniques blush brush. I used Covergirl Natureluxe lipbalm with SPF. I lined my lips with Nyx lip pencil in Hot Pink and then filled them in and I followed that up with MAC’s lipstick in Insanely It. I also topped off my lashes with mascara.
