Frigid Nunchucks

I did another dark look today. Blue and purple and teal, three of my favorite shades, of course!

I started by applying Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Then I used Bare Escentuals Buxom Nunchucks along the upper lash line, rather thickly. With a lid brush, I applied Frigid to the lid and crease and then I did a windshield wiper motion to blend the edge of the crease color. Next, with an Urban Decay crease brush I applied Darling to the upper crease and browbone. I took a blender brush and blended the crease/browbone area. Next, I applied Vapour to highlight under the brows and to the inner corners of the eye. With an angled eye shadow brush, I applied Nunchucks along the lower lash line. I applied Perversion along the lower water line. I did my brows and added a coat of mascara.

Buxom Smoky Eye Stick in Nunchucks – thickly along upper lash line and thinly along lower lash line
Urban Decay Frigid – lid and crease
Sugarpill Darling – upper crease
MAC Vapour – browbone and inner corners of eye
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion – lower water line
Cover Girl Lash Blast Luxe Mascara
Nyx Black Brow Pencil

NARS Powder foundation SPF 12 in Siberia
Skindinavia Cool Flash Spray

MAC Peachykeen – blush
NARS Copacabana – highlight
NARS Nico – contour

This is such a beautiful look all together! But it doesn’t hurt that a beautiful lady is wearing it! :) You’re really convincing me that I need to buy some makeup by Buxom. I’ve loved everything you have showed.

      • Phyrra

        Awww thanks Jessi!

I love this look! It looks great with your hair color (which is lovely, btw.) They’re soem of my favorite colors, too!
Where do you get all of your adorable hair accessories? I know you’ve probably answered this question before, but they are just so unique :)

Such a pretty look, I’m loving how Darling looks.
I have to say, I love love loved your hair when it was the light blonde with the hot pink, but I’m really digging the dark hair on you a lot now. I think it really makes your eyes stand out. I know I’ve said it before, mostly in regards to eye shadow colors, but I guess it applies to hair color as well: I really don’t think there’s a color you can’t pull off!

      • Phyrra

Thank you! I’m loving it dark again.

GORGEOUS smokey look and your skin is flawless! I’ll have to steal this look, for some reason I’ve been loving smokey looks lately, even though I’ve always shied away from them.

      • Phyrra

Definitely give it a try :)

    • Gabrielle

I love the eye colours! I have to ask you again about an indie dupe for the Urban Decay colour, hehe. I think I need a blue that dark and gorgeous!

      • Gabrielle

Oops, I’m sorry! I just realized that’s the same UD colour I asked you about before. I guess I do really love it!

        • Phyrra

A similar, but not exact color, is Shiro Veran. Shiro Veran is sparkly, where as this is more of a pearl type finish. But it’s that blue-purple shade. This look is particularly more blue-toned because I used Nunchucks underneath it at the lash line.
