Evidence in the Deep End

Wednesday I did a gorgeous bright look, probably too vibrant for the office, with UD’s Deep End. I shaded the outer corner of the lid with Evidence. I used Tokidoki’s Royal Pride bronzer in the crease and went with a shimmery browbone with UD’s Vanilla. I actually really love it :) I’m loving using Royal Pride in the crease.

Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Urban Decay Deep End – lid
tokidoki Inferno Bronzer in Royal Pride – crease
Urban Decay Evidence – outer lid and outer crease
Urban Decay Vanilla – browbone
Dior Diorshow Primer
Make Up For Ever Smoky Eyes Mascara
MAC Blackberry – to define brows
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion – lower water line
Too Faced Perfect Peacock – lower lash line

Face:
Holika Holika Essential BB Cream
Holika Holika Strawberry Pore Magic Cover SPF 50

Cheeks:
tokidoki inferno bronzer in Royal Pride

Lips:
Buxom Big & Healthy Lip stick in Milan

As you may or may not be able to tell, I dyed my hair Tuesday night with L’Oreal Healthy Look Creme Gloss Color in Black / Cafe Noir 2. It’s a semi-permanent dye. This is the first picture of me with it. I think it turned out nicely.

I don’t think this is ‘too bright’ for the office (of course, I don’t know how conservative your office is, but still). It’s just a pop of color, nothing too wild at all.
Ooh, I just finally broke down and bought the Tokidoki Robbery palette. Copying!

      • Phyrra

At my office I’ve only seen ladies wearing mascara or liner, so I definitely feel like they find this bright. It’s very conservative.

        • lunableu

Maybe you’ll inspire them to ‘loosen up’ a bit and bust out some color ;-)

          • Phyrra

LOL, I don’t think that is likely.

Oooh yay! Gorgeous! I don’t know why people freak out about bright makeup or hair. How is it any different than bright clothing or accessories?! Maybe one day the world will realize and stop being so hypocritical!

      • Phyrra

I think because it draws attention and can distract.

Love it! Do you have any application tips for applying eyeliners to the waterline?

      • Phyrra

I apply a waterproof pencil and try not to blink for 20 seconds or so. You can apply gel liner but that bugs my eyes.

I’m crazy about your eyes in this, and even crazier about your face. I saw this, and then I opened a new tab and bought the two Holika Holika products you’re wearing in it. Expecting them to be a bit dark, but we’ll see.

Also, bronzer as a crease colour is inspired :D

      • Phyrra

Yay let me know what you think of them. I think you’ll love the powder. Hope the bb is light enough. Royal pride is so pretty, glad you like it in the crease. I tend to wear it there or as blush

I think it is a great combo of teal and bronze. I hope the job is going well with you.

      • Phyrra

        Thanks Kimberly!

I don’t think it’s too bright either….but then, being in the beauty industry, it’s not frowned upon for me. I LOVE this look!

      • Phyrra

Yep, I’m in a totally different industry now.
