Does it live up to its claims?
Yes! I’ve kept this little flat iron in my purse for a month now and used it whenever my hair has needed a touch up. I had a similar flat iron (same size) from Sally’s that I stopped using because the handle and plastic would get too hot after it heated up, but the NuMe Mini doesn’t suffer from the issue. It gets heated up, but the handle is never too hot to hold. While I do have naturally straight hair (which borders on fine to medium in thickness), sometimes the humidity causes my hair to get kinks in it, and this takes them right out. I really adore the size and the zebra print design. It really does heat up quickly. Additionally, it’s very lightweight, which is why I don’t mind having it as a permanent addition in my purse.
Would I purchase?
Yes. After having purchased a similar flat iron that didn’t work as well, I definitely think this one is worth purchasing. Not having to worry about my hand getting too hot is really nice, it’s cute, and it’s lightweight. I really like it for dealing with my fringe, as it’s small and easy to maneuver. I just go over my fringe quickly with the flat iron, putting a slight bend in the hair, and then immediately follow up with a small round brush and then I’m happy with how my hair looks.
Have you heard of NuMe? If so, what do you think of them?

Hello Cotton
What’s that spray bottle, out of curiosity?

It’s a heat protectant. I will be reviewing it too, but I’m so behind with reviews right now.
Will you be doing reviews on styling tools more often? This was interesting for me to see on your blog.
I probably will
I do styling tools on occasion. I don’t use them every day, but I do use them from time to time, depending on my hair.
I have a similar flat iron, also zebra print! I keep it at work, so I can touch my bangs up if it’s been raining.
Yeah, it’s lightweight and perfect for that purpose!
