Shiseido Pink Sands Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trio Review & Swatches

Recently I decided to dip my toes into the water and give Shiseido a try, so I picked up their LE Pink Sands trio. The official shade descriptions are Peach – soft sweet peach, Platinum – pale rosy platinum, and Pink – cool shimmering pink. The shades are inspired by sand dunes lit by the setting sun, which conjures a lovely image.

The large swatches are on Meow’s Light Primer. The small swatches are on bare skin.

My shade descriptions:
Pink – pink with pink iridescence
Taupe – taupe grey brown with pink iridescence
Peach – peach with pink iridescence

The Website Claims:
The true, intense colors blend smoothly to create your perfectly individual eye look.

Ingredients:
??? I’m not sure why, but I can’t find the ingredients listing online at Sephora or at the Shiseido USA site.

Price:
$33 for .1 oz

Does it live up to its claims?
Yes. The colors are truly silky smooth and pigmented. They blend effortlessly. These three shades work together harmoniously. I really love how all 3 shades have pink iridescence, which really makes for the effortless blending.

Would I purchase again?
Yes. If I found a trio I liked, I’d purchase another set from Shiseido. As it is, I really love these three shades, especially the pink! I’m really impressed with the quality of the colors. They wore all day for me with my usual caveat that I wear them with TFSI. Without TFSI, my shadows always melt off. These are really nice, easy to use shadows. I think that they’d be perfect for someone who has a bit of trouble with blending or is new to it, because of how nicely they work together.

Product purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

LOVELY! I have the purple blossom trio and love it too! They’re very soft colors as well.
