I haven’t gotten email confirmation yet, but I strongly suspect that Fyrinnae has closed for good. This makes me so sad. I will miss their gorgeous shadows, lip lustres, and pixie epoxy.

Dreamworld Minerals will be opening again soon. I’ve been waiting for Ellie to get back in the mineral makeup business, as she’s got some lovely treats in store for every one.

I really hope Fyrinnae isn’t closed for good, but for those who need their Pixie Epoxy fix, I’ve heard that Darling Girl’s Glitter Glue is a good substitute.

I was just thinking that I was low on pixie epoxy and went to order some more and saw this. So sad that all of these wonderful MMU companies are shutting their doors. Would you recommend another primer besides pixie epoxy?
I have been checking in on Dreamworld’s site every couple months or so and each time there is an opening date but that date always comes to pass. I hope she can open back up soon.
Dreamworld is still working on getting ready for their big opening!

this is intensely depressing. I’m hoping that whatever is going on with them right now will pass and sooner or later, they’ll be able to open their business again. Fyrinnae was my first, and to be quite honest, takes up 90% of my collection of makeup. They’re what I use almost all the time, and I am going to be dreadfully sad if they go. I’ve never found another company that makes eyeshadows quite as amazing as them

What?! Fyrinnae closing?! Noooo!!! I just placed an order last month and was patiently going through my samples to see what else to get. And I only just now hopped on the pixy epoxy bandwagon. Goddamnit! They can’t close!

I don’t think they are closed permanently.
They were open for orders briefly today and a couple of us snuck some in, then the store came back down and the message said “Fyrinnae is close from 8/16 to 8/29. Please do not make orders during this time.” Several hours later it was changed again to remove the re-opening date, but I suspect that’s more a response to people getting extra orders in (i.e. slowing things down) than a sudden decision never to re-open.
I can’t imagine why he’d write a re-open date, even for a while, if he was planning on closing for good.
Aside from that, I just hope he’s OK. It’s made me really angry seeing people complain about what a rude “lack of thanks to their loyal customers” this is. Fyrinnae deserve the benefit of the doubt. They have earned it. Let’s try not to be selfish and realise that another person’s well-being is more important than being able to buy sparkly things.

There was a message until the 8/24 yesterday iirc. I REALLY hope that it is the way you see it, and maybe Mr F has decided to take a vacation. I held off ordering when the site went up thinking it was backlog and not wanting to add to the queue.
I can undestand wishing the message was clearer tho.

Sigh the first message on the site said they were closed 8/16-8/24 but now it says is closed as of 8/16. I really hope it isn’t true.

I’m glad they’re not closed for good, I love their eyeshadows and I’d like to try their Pixie Epoxy. BTW, Am I the only one who can’t visualize their site anymore? No shop, no messages, just a white empty page.

WHEW thank goodness for this news, this just made my day!! Obviously I’ve been a huge fan of theirs for…more years than I’d care to count, so I’m tickled. I have never minded that they close to catch up – at ALL. Nor have I ever cared about the TAT, I just love their products.

Every time i checked the website first the lip lustres were gone, then the website went…then came back, then went and seems its gone for good…Shame as pixie epoxy was excellent. But business practice of that company not so good. I understand indie companies often need to take breaks to make stock or for personal holidays..but the website never once mentioned when or if they were coming back, so it was often a case of checking every day. I stopped using Fyrinnae in my blog looks, because i couldn’t link to them..what’s the point if their site was always down.
Been meaning to try Two Faced glitter glue for a while now though, so looks like i’ll be
going to that.
Not heard of Dream Minerals so will check them out when they reopen.
Heard recently that High Voltage Cosmetics has gone, read some interesting stuff regarding that company and bad business practice. Kind of glad i only ever did one order with them.
