Some Fall & Halloween Nail Polishes

I wanted to show you all some polishes I picked up. Some are perfect for fall, others are great for Halloween, and still others are just fun!

Let’s start with these! I only Date Werewolves is a nice black by OPI and a part of their Halloween collection. Orly Goth I’ve had for a while, but it’s great for Halloween too, as it’s a black with silver sparkles. Milani’s Silver Dazzle is one of their one coat glitters. It’s very opaque.

My favorite one coat black is Color Club’s Where’s the Soiree? (not pictured)

OPI’s Zom-body to Love is a glow in the dark polish. Opi Mummy Knows Best is a white creme. OPI He’s my Boo is an orange creme. These three polishes are part of OPI’s Halloween collection. I actually picked them up in the mini bottles from Ulta. The other polish is No-Miss Pembroke Petunia, which I got on a Whole Foods excursion.

Sally Hansen’s Ruby Rush is really gorgeous for fall. Cult Nails Enigmatic was a bit of a disappointment for me, because it looks very grey and muted, though it’s definitely an eggplant shade. Essie Sexy Divide is a gorgeous purple. Illamasqua Poke is the violet-purple shade I’m currently obsessed with. It’s so amazing, it glows. I also like the formula of Poke. It’s pigmented but easy to apply, and currently I’m wearing it on tips and toes.

When I’m not obsessed with purples, I’m obsessed with teals. Here we have OPI Austin-tatious Turquoise and Sally Teal-y Fast. Austin-tatious Turquoise is really a summer shade, but Teal-y Fast is so gorgeous and perfect for fall. I LOVE this shade!

I saved the best for last! I’ve got several of the shatters here.
OPI Turquoise Shatter on OPI I only Date Werewolves
Sephora OPI Blasted Silver on OPI I only Date Werewolves
China Glaze Cracked Medallion on OPI I only Date Werewolves
Sephora OPI Blasted Black on No-Miss Pembroke Petunia

Cracked Medallion is a bronze / copper type shade, and should be nice for fall. This is actually one that Ray picked out for me. I’m thinking it would look gorgeous on top of Ruby Rush. Turquoise Shatter would actually look great on top of a gold, but I like it on the black, too. Blasted Silver looks nice on black and purple. Blasted Black works well as a staple color. I’ve had a lot of fun playing with the shatter polishes.

Fall Shades:
Essie Sexy Divide
Sally Hansen Ruby Rush
Sally Hansen Teal-y Fast

Halloween Shades:
OPI Zom-body to Love
OPI Mummy Knows Best
OPI He’s My Boo
OPI I only Date Werewolves

My favorite shade of this round up of color is Illamasqua Poke. I’m going to check out more Illamasqua shades, because this is such an awesome polish.

What colors are you contemplating for Fall? Have you started planning your Halloween costumes? Are you playing with any of the shatters? Or are you over them?
