Friday I wore Bare Escentuals Prime Time in Urban Nature. It’s described as delicate moss, which I feel is an inaccurate description. It reminds me more of MAC Vex eye shadow (beige with pink-green pearl), but not exactly. To me, it’s a smoky moss green with pink iridescence. I sheered it out and wore it on the lid and crease for this look. I did not use my TFSI, as this is supposed to be an eye shadow primer. After 10 hours, I did experience some creasing. Strangely, I do feel like this shade brings out the blue in my eyes, just a bit.
To achieve this simple look, I started by applying a tiny amount of Urban Nature (I really do love the name) to the lid and crease with my finger tip. With a fluffy brush, I applied MAC Vapour to the browbone and with a smudge brush I applied it to the inner corners. I used Milani’s Eye Tech Liquid Liner pen along the upper lash line. I used MUFE’s Aqua pencil liner in 0L on the lower water line. Dior Diorshow Lash Primer and MUFE’s Smoky eyes mascara topped off my lashes.
You can see the creasing I experienced after about 10 hours.

Wow. That balm looks great on you!
Ooh I love that shadow. I see what you mean, it is like Vex but greener to me.
I’m glad you like it Lillian!
That balm looks so pretty on you! Your eyebrows look great too; if only I could keep mine as tidy!! >.>
Aww thank you Judi!
Very pretty look on you!!!
I have yet to review Urban nature b/c I’m still on the fence. I mean it’s supposed to be made from their e/s primer, yet the stuff creases on me after a few hours….but I will say this color is awesome. I loved the way you wore it. It looks so much lighter and prettier, than when I pack it on. LOL. By the way. Your brows look amazing!
Thank you so much Pink Sith! Yeah, it did crease a bit on me, which sucks. It wore pretty well on TFSI though. And thank you!
I just bought Urban Nature yesterday! I agree, it’s kind of like Vex. I can hardly wait to use it!
I’m glad you picked it up!
Hee, hee, hee. Urban Nature will be mine in the very near future. I can’t wait. But I am a little bummed about the creasing. I am willing to give it a try because I have some other BE primers, and I don’t experience any creasing with the other shades. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see how it wears on me.
I also really need to set aside some cash for Morgana’s lip balms. They are lovely.
Yay I’m glad you like it. If you don’t have super oily lids (like me) it may not crease.
DEFINITELY going to make this one mine ASAP! It seems like it could be used in so many different ways – and I hope I’ll see a few of them here
Yay sounds good Erin!
Very pretty and you did a great job of capturing the pink iridescence!!
LOVE Diabolical Druscilla….this look is very sophisticated!
I <3 the subtle iridescence of Urban Nature, and Diabolical Druscilla works really well with your skin tone.
Awwh it does have that pink iridescence too! Love that balm on you ^__^ very pretty
This looks gorgeous on you! I did a similar look with Meow’s Astral Projection (which by the way, was a great recombination by way of your looks)
I look forward to seeing more!
Yay I’m glad you like Astral Projection too!
