Today I threw caution to the wind and broke out Fyrinnae’s Dressed to Kill. It’s a glimmering glowing deceptive gilded green duocolor with flashes of gold and green sparkle, and I think it looks fantastic with my eyes. For some reason, maybe because of the gold, I feel like it makes my eyes look more blue. I used Silk Naturals Glory in the crease to make it work safe. I am really happy with the results!
I was able to get away with this look at work because of my eye shape and the shades chosen. I was so happy to have something fun and pretty today! Though I do have to say I got a LOT of looks from people.

Hello Cotton
Absolutely gorgeous…all of it! <3
Thank you so much! <3
I love it! Dressed to Kill is one of my favorite Fyrinnae shadows.
Me too! It’s such a flattering, rich shade.

Yay for green at work! You look gorgeous; no wonder you were getting looks! Do they tell you what colors/types of makeup you aren’t supposed to wear or do they just say “work appropriate” makeup and leave it up to your interpretation?

It’s a very conservative environment so I always try to dress in a certain manner and be respectful. No one commented on it and I met with like 100 people on this day.
Love, love, love Dressed to Kill and this look!

Yay thanks Lillian
Its ver pretty, I have that colour too and it’s lovely! I think everybody loved it!
I can wear all type of eyeshadows to my work, but since I wear glasses all colours don’t look as bold as they are, and part of my eye lid is hidden behind the purple glasses

I do miss my bright colors on a daily basis but I’m slowly incorporating more color. You always look so pretty in your glasses!
That is an amazing green! It looks beautiful on you, especially with the black liner

Holy cats, I’ve had this sample sitting around for over a month now and haven’t used it yet. After seeing this I’m not sure what the hell I was waiting for….
Well, the new job might require you to keep the eye makeup to a minimum, but you’ve totally worked the face stuff. With every look your skin looks smooth and flawless. Well…except for the dots of cat sneeze left behind on my screen. :p
Hehe I have been trying to make my skin flawless
you need to wear this color! It’s pretty
What a beautiful green! You look lovely!

Yes! It will look great on you!
That color is sooooo gorgeous. Now, I have a faint understanding that you have to wear more neutral colors, and I don’t want you to disclose your position if you aren’t supposed to, but what exactly do you do that even a somewhat neutral green (it’s not acid green, but more of a warm foresty green) would get you looks??

I work in a very conservative environment. I can’t really say more. However, no one minded this look
I also think certain shades of green can lean neutral, but I think I have an understanding of how conservative your environment is.
Around 4-5 years ago I had my 1st “real job” as a receptionist/ap girl for a small electric company in a nondescript office park near the afb. There was some sort of division that moved in to the office next to ours. The way my desk was configured every time someone walked by they were in my line of sight. I can’t tell you how many “stern” looks I received for simply lifting my head to see if the people walking by were for us! Its definitely a different culture.
Anyhow, I’m going to agree with everyone else and say you were turning heads for all the right reasons! ^_^
