When I was at Walgreens last night I ran across the L’Oreal Project Runway LE collection. I gravitated towards the Sultry Raven set, since the eye shadow quad is comprised of silver, grey, purple and black. So I picked up the Sultry Raven’s Gaze eye shadow quad, the Sultry Raven’s Pout lipstick, the Sultry Raven’s Strength nail polish and the Watchful Owl’s Night nail polish. I may grab the Watchful Owl’s Gaze if I can find it (they were sold out ).

For the first time ever, I think, my Walgreens gave me a few product samples with my purchase. Unusual, but nice.

The grey is a really nice grey that I feel leans a bit warm, as it reminded me of MAC Copperplate on my skin.

The silver made me think of MAC Electra. It’s a great shade for brightening at the inner corner or use it for a metallic silver lid.

Instead of swatching these on primer, like I normally do, I swatched them on my bare skin. I was curious to see how they look. I’ll have a better feel for how they’ll perform once I do a look with them.

The black is a sheer black with tiny silver sparkles in it. It’s not particularly exciting to me.

This is the promo image I saw at Walgreens, which is what prompted me to purchase the quad, since I love silver, grey, purple and black.

I actually find both of the nail polishes to be beautiful!
