A while back I picked up some of the new Shiro Intertubes because I HAD to have Team Buffy. I’m in complete agreement that Vampires. Should. Not. Sparkle. My favorite vampires do not sparkle. Anyway, I have all 5 of the new shades here for you to see. All of the shades are sheer but can be built up in opacity. I applied them with my finger to the back of my hand.
Official Shade Descriptions:
Team Buffy – vampy plum/raisin
Royal Wedding Hat – pale neutral
Forty Cakes – bright hot pink
Nyan Cat – pink rose with gold shimmer
Shoop Da Whoop – bright, hot red
Team Buffy is PERFECT for fall. It’s my favorite of the bunch. Vampy is right! However, if you’re afraid of dark lippies, you can apply it very sheerly. If you’re more confident, you can build it up for a more vampy lip. Nyan Cat is really neat because you can see the gold shimmer in it. Forty Cakes is a sexy hot pink that reminds me of jelly polish for some reason.

Team Buffy looks like the perfect suits all skin-tones, every day shade! The others are great too, but Buffy is definitely the stand out for me!

I LOVE Shiro Intertubes! I’ve been wearing Three Wolf Moon a ton lately, and I adore Nyan Cat and Rickrolled. Forty Cakes is also pretty awesome. I don’t care for Royal Wedding Hat, but it’s just not the type of color I would typically wear and I got it on a whim. I want ALL of Shiro’s Intertubes — they’re an absolutely awesome product!

My first thought is to avoid them since they’re so sheer, but then the other side of my brain kicks in and says “hey, a) you can build them up, and b) you do a nude or sheer lip everyday!” XD

I totally agree with that vampires should be non-sparkly! I want to get Team Buffy at least, and maybe Nyan Cat as well. I’ve been wearing Over 9000 and Leroy Jenkins lately, I really like them!

I love them. I think Royal Wedding Hat can be tricky to use (takes a light application and a little blotting to get it right) but can be really pretty on me if I do it right, and it makes a great base if you have pigmented lips and want one of the others to show up more opaque. It’s awesome under Forty Cakes.
