Hi, I’m Kimberly and I write the blog KimmieKarmaLove. I am a 25 year old makeup freak and live in California with my amazing Husband and three dog babies. I love anything purple, sparkly or pig related. I currently have two jobs and plan on going back to school in January so I can get my degree in Animal Science to become a Veterinary Tech. Some things that most people don’t know about me: I’m addicted to The Sims 3, listen to hardcore screamo music, believe in the teachings of Buddha, love funky necklaces and fun socks!

I got into the indie makeup community about a year and a half and have loved it ever since. I never really read any blogs before I started mine, I actually starting blogging and reviewing makeup first and then found awesome blogs after. I love the amazing makeup that the companies create but I also love the community. I have met some really awesome ladies that share my passion for makeup and don’t look at me like I’m crazy when I talk abut how I must have that pink lip gloss with the blue shift. When I first started my blog I knew that I wanted to mainly focus on indie products and to this day I still try to maintain that focus. I love writing reviews on new companies that haven’t really gotten their name out there, it’s really fun to find a gem that hasn’t been discovered. My favorite type of posts to write are eyeshadow reviews or hauls, I love taking pictures of eyeshadow swatches and it’s fun to show off the beautiful colors and sparkly goodness.

I don’t really have a favorite brand because I have favorite products from all companies, but if a gun was held to my head I would say Fyrinnae. They create some of the most amazing purples and pinks.

Something I’m thankful for this year: This is kinda vague but I’ve been genuinely happy this year and that’s huge for me.
