Fyrinnae Purgatory

I meant to post this red look last week but I got so busy it didn’t happen. I wanted to do something sort of tonal, so I started with MAC Trax on the lid and then realized that Fyrinnae Purgatory would be PERFECT for the crease, outer lid corner and outer lower lash line. So that’s exactly what I did. I used Inglot 29 on the browbone and inner corners of the eye. Sadly, aside from the lip products I used, I can’t recall what foundation or blush I pulled out.

I’ve included a picture that I blurred to show off the awesomeness of these shadows.

I was being silly and took this picture so that you could see the bat wing ring, albeit poorly, that I’m wearing.

MAC Trax – lid
Fyrinnae Purgatory – crease and outer corner of lid, outer lower lash line
Inglot 29 – browbone and inner corners of eye
MUFE Aqua Liner in 14 Diamond Black – upper lash line and lower lash line
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion – lower water line
MAC Blackberry – to define brows
Hard Candy 1000 Lashes Primer
Flirt! It Curls Mascara

Tarte lipsurgence in Fiery
Venomous lip poison in Venom

I personally think my lips look awesome and that the camera isn’t doing them justice. I do feel like I was able to capture Purgatory and Trax fairly well. What do you think?

What an amazing colour! I’m so glad I ordered this. I can’t wait for it to arrive.

Thanks Olgie! I love how this looks lit from within.

Oh my gosh, Trax looks so nice with Purgatory! I don’t have Purgatory but I do have Trax. I’m wondering if Darling Girl’s “Jack’s Lantern” would be a good combo… or maybe it might be too brown?? Orrrrr maybe I just need to get Purgatory, haha.

      • Phyrra

I think Jack’s Lantern is more orange/brown? Still might work. You definitely need Purgatory :)

I really like this, it’s very ‘smouldering’ :)

Great look! I love how it goes with your brows which go with your hair. Just an all around awesome combo.

I think I’ll have to try using Purgatory as a crease color. I tried it on the lid recently and it turned all dull and patchy. Some of Fyrinnae’s black based colors do that to me, no idea why. It is probably much more forgiving in the crease. Lovely look!

      • Phyrra

You have to apply them either by patting them on, or by Pixie Epoxy :)

      Looks great! :)
Trax is one of my favorite eyeshadows, but I find it hard to build up. It’s so pigmented in this look, how do you apply it?

      • Phyrra

I used an eye shadow primer and applied it. It seemed to work well like that.
