Beauty Blog Advent Calendar – OCC Jubilee

This year I’m taking part in a Beauty Blog Advent Calendar with LiAnn of Sparklecrack Central and Becky of Confessions of a Makeup Addict!

For My first entry, I chose Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Jubilee. OCC describes Jubilee as an icy blue with intense yellow/green shimmer. It reminds me a lot of Venomous Cosmetics Venom, which has gold/green shimmer. I seem to be obsessed with this recently!

Jubilee is $12 from OCC for 2.5 g.
100% vegan, mineral-based pigments, Micro-refined for superior blendability
Ingredients: Mica
May Contain: Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Ferric Ferrocyanide, D&C Red #7, D&C Yellow #5, FD&C Blue #1

I swatched this shade in several different ways:
Row 1 MAC Fix + , Meow Light Primer
Row 2 bare skin , MAC Blackground

Row 1 MAC Fix + , Meow Light Primer
Row 2 bare skin , MAC Blackground

I rubbed the color down on top of the black primer and I really liked the results.

Anyway, this is a really gorgeous color! While the other colors I tried from OCC didn’t really wow me, I really do love this one. I’m very happy with it.

I love the look I did with it here.

What do you think of Jubilee?

Product purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

I thought it was gorgeous before, but now that you’ve swatched it over various primers and things, I think it’s even more amazing!

Yay glad you like it Olgie! I think this is a fantastic eye shadow from OCC. It didn’t disappoint.

That’s a seriously beautiful shade. How does it compare to Sugarpill Lumi?

      • Phyrra

This is more minty than Lumi. It pulls more yellow and green and mint, where Lumi pulls more white.

    • The Peach

Wow! What a pretty color! I’m going to have to go see what this Beauty Blog Advent Calender is all about!

      • Phyrra

        It’s definitely worth it!
