Don’t shoot me for the title reference. I was inspired by this eye on Pinterest. Mine isn’t an exact replica, but I think I could manage an exact if I did liquid for the black, tightlined, then pencil, and then finished with the teal eye shadow.
Eyes:
L’Oreal Cream Shadow in Endless Pearl (I should have used TFSI and stuck a skintone shade on top of it. I can use Endless pearl as a matte highlight, but stuff transfers onto it). – lid
Too Faced Perfect Black liner – upper and lower lash line, upper and lower waterline.
Fyrinnae Catrina Cabaret – applied with brush along the upper and lower lash line
MAC Blackberry – to define brows
Hard Candy 1000 Lashes Primer
Urban Decay Cannonball Mascara
Face:
Make Up For Ever HD foundation in 110 Porcelain
Make Up For Ever Finishing powder
Cheeks:
MAC Azalea Blossom
MAC Vintage Grape
Lips:
MAC Fusion Pink (for this morning)
MAC Candy Yum Yum (for this evening)
How would you wear liner like this? I’d love to know

Hello Cotton
I’ve got to say, I think this is one of my favourite looks I’ve seen you do. It’s so simple yet it still has so much impact. Saving this to try myself

Thanks! I found it super sexy and yet, very easy.
I love how simlified this is because I’m a bit of a makeup newbie. And it looks like it will work on my very small eyes. Also, you’re hair clips are awesome.
Thanks! They’re from Octopus Stew :>
Love the look and the book of the same name. I actually have a copy of Cerulean sins that’s signed by Laurell.
Very cool!
Oh gosh, that Candy Yum Yum looks amazing on you. Still upset that I couldn’t get it.

Did you see Morgana Cryptoria’s matte hot pink shade she made that’s very similar?
I always like the way a simple dark blue eyeliner looks. This is great on you. It’s funny, the word/color Cerulean always makes me think of that scene in “The Devil Wears Prada”

I loved that movie!
I love the smokieness (smokeyness?) of it!

Yay! I think you could classify this as a sexy smoky type eye.
Love this! I’m going to have to try it myself, it’s so sultry
Definitely play with it
I like where you were going with this a lot, Catrina Cabaret is a very pretty color. I totally have the same issue with liner-only looks, though. It loves to migrate up onto my lid if I’m not wearing some kind of neutral-ish shadow (I guess it’s the oils, though I don’t have particularly oily lids) I kind of want to give this a try with my normal old black liquid liner and my Stila smudge stick in Peacock (I think it’s called Peacock. If it isn’t, it should be)

If I’d put on a nude shadow, on top of the cream shadow, I think it would have been ok. The cream shadow acted like a sticky base, and since I have very hooded eyes, some of the color transferred.
This is so pretty! I love the contrast of your eyes and the shadow

Thank you!
Perfect make up for cocktail parties!
This is gorgeous! It’s all smoky and awesome, but it’s not over the top or anything. I’m going to have to try this.

Oooh let me know how you like it
I have to say, I like the simple effect of a dark liner all around w/ your eye color
