Dreamworld Minerals Lip Chromes

I’ve got a TON of DreamWorld Minerals products to swatch for you. Today’s set of swatches, however, is of the Lip Chromes. Lip Chromes are extremely thick, highly pigmented, long lasting, and very moisturizing. Just a small amount will do the job. It’s 15 ml (1/2 ounce) of product in a squeeze tube for $14.99. These are meant to be applied with a lip brush for best results. I also included swatches of two Magick Wand lip gloss shades.

Shade Descriptions:
Cloud 9 – white with slight shimmer
Molten Silver – a beautiful silver
Dark Knight – a metallic bronze
Abyss – glossy black
Blood Oath – deep burgundy
Spring – soft pink (leans a bit coral to me)
Bruise – light lavender
Forest – deep green with blue undertones
Sea Fairey – Bright aqua color with slight shimmers (Magick Wand)
Zombie Smooch – Pretty aqua color with aqua sparkles (Magick Wand)

The texture on most of these are really good. The two odd ones are Abyss, which feathers a lot and would benefit from lipliner, and Forest, which I’m not sure if the color separated or what. Otherwise, the texture was nice, but like I mentioned above, they should be applied with a lip brush.

The tubes come shrinkwrapped, so there’s no spillage during shipping. They also have the ingredients printed on them.

I’ll be reporting back later on their wear. I also think they can mix together well to create custom shades.

I, of course, am in love with Sea Fairey! I also love how Spring and Bruise look. Molten Silver and Dark Knight are intriguing, while Blood Oath is quite sultry. Cloud 9 and Zombie Smooch are pretty! I really like the unusual shade of Forest. I believe Forest and Abyss may have their formulas tweaked in the near future.

Have you tried any of the new products from DreamWorld? What do you think of these shades from Dreamworld?

Products sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Beautiful colors! I love the way forest looks but I’m bummed that it got separated.

How do these compare to OCC’s lip tars?

      • Phyrra

I just bought another Lip Tar, so I can try to compare them. I originally did not like lip tars, so I liked these better in terms of consistency, feel and wear.

What the…why haven’t I heard of this company more often. Those lip products look incredible!

      • Phyrra

They were closed for a while but are open again :)

They look really nice. I couldn’t find the list of ingredients on the site, and was wondering if they are posted somewhere or if they (or some) are vegan?

      • Petra

I found the ingredients, they’re on a separate page from everything else. I have no idea how to link in a comment, so I’m just going to cut and paste!

Just scroll down the find the lip products!
