Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo Eye Shadows – Tenacious Teal Bold Gold

I picked up Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo eyeshadow in Tenacious Teal and Bold Gold from Target the other night. I’m a sucker for teal and gold. The shades were really picked over, as they’re selling for only $5.99 at Target. The colors are rich and creamy.

Tenacious Teal, to me, looks more like a vibrant turquoise or sky blue shade. When swatched, I definitely think it’s more reminiscent of a sky blue.

Bold Gold is more of a neutral gold.

Of the two, I think Bold Gold is my favorite, but both are gorgeous. I wore the two shades on the back of my hand overnight and they hung on quite well. I need to test the wear on the eyes, but I wanted to show you the the lovely colors. The colors are very true to pan from my perspective.

What do you think of these shades? Did you pick up any to try out?

Products purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

I picked up tough as taupe – which is a really lovely matte neutral – and bold gold. i’m really pleased with them, they last extremely well and don’t crease at all. i’ve worn them alone and as a base with powder shadow on top.

      Nice!

I have the green one and it is lovely. I have fairly oily skin, so it only lasted about 3 hours on my lids without creasing, but I still like them. I pretty much assume I have to put a primer under anything, lol. I picked up the orange one and haven’t used it yet. I’m pretty impressed. Want all of them! There’s matte shades for goodness sakes! And compared to similar MUFE products, the price can’t be beat (and matte shades, woohoo!)

I always put primer under anything for the same reason :)

I’m really interested in the white one (forgot the name) because I think it will be a good base for a lot of shadows I’ve been having issues with.

You should check out the L’Oreal one Endless Pearl. It’s nice.

I picked up the white one (Too Cool, I think?) last night, and today is my first time wearing it. It didn’t blend as nicely as I had hoped, but once I worked with it a bit, it seemed to even out. More sheer than I thought it would be, but it’s working as a decent base over UDPP. Some slight creasing after about 6 hours now, but nothing too noticeable.

I’ve got both of those, plus the purple, asphalt, and taupe. Of them I think the gold is my favorite as well. Though none of the colors are terribly exciting, the formula is where it’s at. It lasts really well on my eyelids, even without primer, and I’ve found using fingers to be better than a brush. Easy long lasting shadow? Yes, please. I used the gold shade as a base for my xmas day eye and put meow’s santa honey on top. Thanks for featuring Santa Honey so much on your blog, btw, it’s my new favorite gold!

I like the L’Oreal shades better than the Maybelline, BUT, I do love this gold.

That is a great price on those at Target!!! I will have to hit Target this weekend. I picked up the taupe and white ones yesterday at Walgreens but paid a couple dollars more. Haven’t tested them yet…but, that taupe is so unique!!!

I bought Taupe and Teal last night from walgreens, buy one get one free. The color glides on very well, covers well, and does wash off easily with makeup remover. I’ve always had a problem with eyemakeup fading, I was glad to find this product.
