Google Friend Connect, as I’m sure you’ve heard by now, is going away for anyone who is not on Google’s Blogger platform. I’m currently searching for a way to export my Google Friend Connect followers to my Google Plus Page, but so far I’ve not had success with figuring out how to do this (but I’m still searching on Google for a solution).
You can choose to follow me in many different ways aside from GFC if you click on the Follow Me tab on the right side of this blog.

Please follow in your favorite way. If I’m missing something you like, let me know. I do have different content on Pinterest than I do elsewhere. I highly recommend my Hair inspiration! Sometimes I have extra posts and codes on Facebook. I’m active on Twitter (and respond to all @questions). I’m in the progress of editing some new tutorials for Youtube (after almost a year!).
Tell me, what’s your favorite way to read my blog?
I prefer to use a rss reader (google reader) to subscribe to blogs – I find that it’s the easiest way by far to make sure to keep up on all new content and never miss new posts! And then I can either just read the full post in the reader, or click through to leave a comment.
I really hate shortened rss feeds, but I do understand why people have them and it doesn’t stop me from reading those blogs.
I’ll subscribe to blogs (which i already read via rss) in bloglovin’, GFC, or whatever for giveaways, but then I just continue to read then via rss.
Seconding Google Reader! I don’t mind opening the full blog post in a new tab.
I don’t know why I didn’t like Google Reader, but I fell in love with Blog Lovin and now I REALLY like Hello Cotton.
Deffo google reader!
Seems like it’s the favorite
Hope you find a solution soon! But don’t worry, I guess, your blog readers will definitely still follow you. I subscribe to rss feeds coz I like to see which blogs have updates in one place, then open them in tabs.
Please let me know if you have any problems accessing my blog with your reader
This is so mean of Google :S
I dont care where you go I will follow you (omg… that sounded like I’m a stocker “O_o)
Aww no, you’re sweet
Aww I’m sad. I read your blogs thru blogger =(
I think you’ll still be able to read my blog through blogger. Please let me know if you have any difficulty.
i always read blogs via feeds. it was until i start reading beauty blogs i start to use gfc (still reading via google reader) because that’s usually one of the requirement to enter giveaways. otherwise, i still prefer the good old fashion rss feeds
i’m not keen to move onto g+ (even tho i have one setup) since i can’t see how it can replace gfc. i don’t have plugins on my blog software to sync with g+. to me it’s just a fb wanna be and having fb is sufficient.
I was so excited over G+, and now that excitement has waned.
I think it’s lame how Google is practically forcing people to use their failed social networking project, so I set up a Facebook page for my site instead.
I agree. I think it’s especially lame that you can’t port friends
So sad that GFC is going away. I know eventually those of us with Blogger blogs will be affected too:( However, there is a new follower tool that might even be better than GFC ever was;) Check it out!
I signed up for that this past weekend, but it didn’t work. It didn’t activate my account. I emailed the owner twice, but so far I haven’t received a response back.
