This is my quick video tutorial for the Stormy Neptune (Sapphire Blue look). This is the first video I’ve done in a long time. It was shot with my Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS 12 MP. Please let me know what you think.

Nice Vid. I like watching people and seeing how their techniques vary. You seem to use alot of quite small brushes in your makeup – is that usual? I loved the colour combination, I hope to do something similar to this when I move into my new flat and get all my makeup out. One small quibble though – why wasnt Phaedra and/or Max in the background?
I use small brushes because I find them easier to work with
Phaedra was sort of in the background but she wasn’t feeling well, so she wasn’t on the bed. Max isn’t allowed on the bed, so he was chillin’ out.
Oh god, I’ve been saying Phyrra wrong in my head! Now that I think of it, “fear-rah” makes far more sense than “fy-rah”.

Great video! Nice to see how you build up an eyelook and what brushes you use, and I really love that it is very to the point. It was not boring for a second.

I loved the look and the video and everything! You have a similar eye shape to me, and I never would have though of using a smaller brush… Does it take any longer to apply the makeup than with larger brushes, do you think, or have you always pretty much used smaller brushes?
I typically always use smaller brushes unless I’m doing a wash of color. I feel it gives me better control.
It’s beautiful! I really like the shape you created with the blue.
