Citrus Swatches

I was recently asked for a few comparison swatches of some citrus hues, so here they are. These are all products that were purchased by me. I believe I swatched all of these on bare skin with no primer. I typically swatch on primer since I have to use eye shadow primer for my eye shadow to stick around for more than 5 minutes.

The two copper shades aren’t really citrus, but they do coordinate well with the oranges. As you can see Weepinbell is in the same color family as Sweet n’ Punchy, but it’s lighter and has more of an opalescent shimmer to it, where SnP is deeper and more pearly.  I think these are all fun shades for spring.

What do you think? Would you wear any of these?

Products purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

Citrus-y shades are where it’s at… they’re oddly wearable for everyone, although I think a nice orange looks the best on darker skin tones. That’s not to say someone as pasty as me can’t rock ‘em, though!

I only have Weepinbell of the shades you swatched… I do love me some Shiro! Also, as a Sephora cast member, I’m super hyped for the Pantone Tangerine Tango collaboration!! /shameless plug ;3

I love orange lipsticks but I find orange shadows hard to wear!

I love love LOVE the Sephora Pantone collection!
I also love the fact that Sephora is cruelty-free!
No problem with the shameless plug :)

All of the colors are pretty but Flamepoint and Tangerine and gorgeous and I’m not even a fan of orange! Beautiful swatches!
