I’m Feeling Nail-Venturous – Floam

I signed up to receive an email from Ninja Polish when Floam was next available in their store. The moment I got the email, I immediately went to their site, put it in my cart and checked out. I didn’t look at any other products, I just grabbed it and ran. After purchasing, I tweeted and facebooked it, so that other people could get it, too.

While I did clean up the edges of my polish, the glitter just seemed to stick to my skin! No matter what I did, it didn’t want to come off, so after I cleaned off the polish I gave it a rest on the glitter for a while.

For the Floam nails:

1. Cult Nails Get it On Base Coat
2. Milani White on the Spot
3. 3 thin coats of Floam
4. Orly Sec n’ Dry top coat

For my accent nail:

1. Cult Nails Get it On Base Coat
2. Milani White on the Spot
3. China Glaze Pool Party – 2 coats
4. Pahlish Train Underwater – design
5. Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Black – zig zag
6. Orly Sec n’ Dry top coat

Price:
$9 for 15ml bottle.
$2 for shipping

I love this polish! It’s another unique polish in my collection. $2 shipping is darn cheap!

I’d say if you like glitter, or bright colors, you should sign up to be notified when this is next in stock! It’s really awesome.

Also, Milani’s White on the Spot is awesome for layering. It covers up any visible nail line. It works great with neons and glitters! I would say it’s a must have polish, too!

Floam, Train Underwater, Black, Pool Party, Sec n’ Dry, Get it On all purchased by me. Milani White on the Spot sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.

I’ve seen this nail polish everywhere lately, I’d love to try it out myself. And as cool as it is, but I like the pink finger better, the blue glitter glazing is so precise!

      • Phyrra

I did it with tape ;) Just a simple lightning bolt style! I’m glad you like it ;)

    • Kate

Wow! I love this unique polish. I hope they will create the same effect in other glitter duos.

      • Phyrra

I think they have 2 other duos.

Floam is in a class by itself, isn’t it? It looks cool on you. :)

This is SOOO full of awesome! I love the color it is… And as a kid, I totally used to play with floam! Ahhhh the easy days, when bills were paid by parents, animal crackers and apple juice were given before recess, and naptime mid-day was encouraged.

first, LOVE LOVE LOVE the new blog look!!!

I have been trying to get a bottle of Floam forever. I mean, literally it will sell out in minutes and I’ve just missed the email or something GAH. It’s just so cool and wonky I neeeeeed it! lol

      • Phyrra

        Yay thanks!

    • Quinctia

I got a bottle from that batch, too! I’m wearing it right now–I just did two layers of it on top of my normal base coat, though. I found it to be opaque enough that way, though if I can do a consistent type of layer, I think I’m going to try a neon yellow/pink base with one layer of floam on top the next time I wear it.

I really love this polish, it’s much more interesting to me than a lot of the really popular ones. I like it better than what I’ve seen of Lynderella’s, for instance.

      • Phyrra

Oooh a pink base might be awesome!
