I was asked to do a look with Makeup Geek Poolside, and someone asked for me to match my shirt and eye shadow, and mentioned a bit of an 80s vibe. So I hope that this look fits in with all three requests. I did sort of geometric shapes with strong color.
To begin, I prepped the eye area and under eye area with Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I used MAC Fix+ on a brush with the MAC pigment Nebula (Yes, I’m still in love with this pigment. I think it works really well with my eye color), and painted it around my eyes. I did an elongated eye shape but not exactly a cat eye. Then I went in with Makeup Geek Poolside and a fiber optic brush to apply Poolside to my crease. It’s sort of in a swish type shape. I took a shader brush and used Poolside along the lower lid, underneath Nebula and I extended it out, sort of like a fish tail. I used Makeup Geek Vanilla Bean to fill in the space between the < shape at the outer corner of each eye. I also used Vanilla Bean on the browbone and inner corners of the eye. I then used Vanilla Bean underneath Poolside along the lower lid. I used a bit of Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity in Pure Opal right under my eyebrows and at the very inner corner of each eye. I added a bit of gloMinerals liner in Peach to the lower waterline. I finished off the look with Smashbox Lash Primer & Cover Girl 24 Hour mascara in Black Gold.
