Mermaid Pearls and Unicorn Horns

Yesterday I put together a look using mostly Nyx Pearls that I’d purchased in a recent Hautelook (affiliate link) sale and some Makeup Geek shadows. Mostly I just kind of played with color, without really planning things. I like the results.

Silk Naturals Untinted Oil Control Blur Finishing Powder

Lips:

I started by applying Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I used Nyx Very Pink Pearl on the inner lid and Makeup Geek Sensuous on the outer lid and outer lower lash line. I used Nyx Yellow Gold Pearl on the inner v and inner lower lash line. For the center of the lid I used Nyx Orange Zest Pearl on the center of the lid and middle of the lower lash line and I sort of blended the orange upwards to towards the lower crease, basically the fold of my lid. I then reached for Makeup Geek Mermaid and applied that in my crease. I followed up with Makeup Geek Unicorn in my lower outer crease and along my lower lid/lower lash line. I added some TheBalm No Money No Honey to the browbone and sort of haloed it all around my eye. I added a touch of Nyx Push-Up Bra highlight under my eyebrows.

Again, I can’t rave enough Makeup Geek shadows and how awesome they are. You should definitely check them out if you haven’t already. Love!

I should have blended the lower crease more. But overall, I’m pretty happy with the look. What do you think of it? To me it sort of seems like a watercolor dream, pastel rainbows or mermaid scales.

Some products purchased by me and some products were sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.
