Mirabella Beauty Magic Marker Eyeliner – Review

Recently I had the opportunity to try out Mirabella Beauty’s Magic Marker Eyeliner. It’s a pen style eyeliner (hence the name Magic Marker), which makes application really easy.

The Website Claims:
Long lasting, intense color in a brush-tipped eye liner marker. Available in Very Black. Paraben-free.

Ingredients:
INGREDIENTS: Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Polyester-5, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Lignosulfonate, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth-11 Carboxylate, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Water [Chamomilla Recutita Water], Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Polysorbate 80, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sodium Benzoate MAY CONTAIN (PEUT CONTENIR): Black 2 (CI 77266)

Price:
$18.00

Does it live up to its claims?
Yes! It’s an easy to use, awesome eyeliner. It’s like using a pencil with ease of holding. Its tip is built for precision, so you can do a very thin line at the upper lash line, or a thicker line. The color is called Very Black. It’s a deep black but it has very subtle micro-glimmers of blue if you look at it closely (I’m talking like 6 to 8 inches from my nose :P). It’s definitely long lasting, but comes off easily with my Sonia Kashuk eye makeup remover. I find myself reaching for this eyeliner over and over when I want a black liner. It’s just so easy to use and I feel like I get a flawless line with this. It’s also much easier to get a thinner line than with a pencil.

Would I purchase?
Yes! If you love the look of liquid liner but find most liners hard to control, give this magic marker style a try. It makes beautiful lines. :) I like the color of this liner a lot and I think it looks great every time I use it. It’s less expensive than the Make Up For Ever liner or Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Liners and equally as good. I highly recommend it!

Where can I find this? Never seen this brand before. I like the marker style but they seem to dry up too quickly, since I don’t use them very frequently, so
i only get a couple uses out of them.

        Hi Kimberly,

I gave a direct link at the top to the website. I’m not sure if it is available in any store for purchase. I first found the brand through Hautelook and purchased them there. This item was sent for consideration from a Brand representative.

Just for 18 bucks? They’re very attractive and affordable. What was your favorite color combination of all the samples above?

      • Phyrra

The blue (Sailor Mercury), the gold (Dirty Sexy Gold) or the pink and purple (cyber goth look).

I find the brush easier to use than the pen type, but this marker type pen might make it easier for me.

It’s really nice :) It doesn’t last through me crying at the Hunger Games movie, but that’s the first time I’ve had it budge.

I do like marker style eyeliners quite a bit… firmer applicators are my favorite as I feel like I have more control :-)

        I agree!
