I wanted to show you some new Hair Inspiration, since you all know that I love hair. I went shorter with my last cut, so I’ve been continuing to look at new short styles. I did include some longer styles that took my breath away.

I love this one as it’s got a long fringe in the front but it’s smooth all over. I’m sure it could be mussed a bit and given more texture with a pomade.

I love this edgy one with all the wild pieces. I’m a fan of layers and making them work to flatter your face shape.

I love this one for its unique shape and the little flare of hair on the side, as well as the intense color.

I really love the color placement and cut for this, but for practicality’s sake I’d have to have the bangs/fringe much higher so I could see. I love the teal and I love the little point on the side.

This is such a fun color! I’m sure they had to go almost white blonde to get this lilac shade to show up, but it’s so cute. Fun cut, too.

I know exactly how to achieve this coloring in my hair, so I’m a fan. I love the turquoise-blue-black coloring.

I love this short straight red bob with the adorable fringe framing the eyes.

This cut has such straight lines that it really is all about the person’s face. The pale pink is cute for spring, but I think it would be hard for most people to pull off.

I really love this hair for the volume and the fringe swept over one eye. This style has really great volume.

I really like asymmetrical cuts and this one is no exception. It seems like the length radiates out from the very short left side to the longer right side. It’s really cute.

I really like this shaggy, full bob with a few extra long pieces. It’s definitely got a wild feel.

This is a fun short style with LOTS of layers. I particularly like the color placement with the highlights.

This one is adorable not only for the cut, which has lots and lots of layers and texture and volume going on, but also for the color placement. It’s so much fun.

This is an interesting fauxhawk with a braid. I know I’ve seen a lot of braids, but this is a really cool and unusual placement.

I love all the crazy waves and braids in this hair, as well as the purple threaded throughout.

The curls in this look really contrast nicely with the overall short pixie-like points of the rest of the hair.

This red hair made me sigh out loud in a dreamy fashion. I love the thick bangs framing the eyes and the color and everything about this hair! Every time I think eh, I prefer short hair, I see long hair like this that just wows me.

This is really fun color placement, though I’d swap the silver for hot pink, turquoise, purple or blue.

I hope this has given you some inspiration for cuts and colors today. I’ve certainly been inspired. Even if you don’t want a new cut, splashing color in a new way can really update your look. A good stylist will be able to help you figure out where to place color to emphasize what you want to pop, such as your eyes. They can also tell you where to cut to best flatter your face shape.
