I wanted to show you some new Hair Inspiration, since you all know that I love hair. I went shorter with my last cut, so I’ve been continuing to look at new short styles. I did include some longer styles that took my breath away.
I love this one as it’s got a long fringe in the front but it’s smooth all over. I’m sure it could be mussed a bit and given more texture with a pomade.
This one has a lot of uneven pieces, making it very unique.
This one has volume and frames the eyes and cheekbones nicely.
I’m a fan of bobs because they’re classic and chic. This one is timeless.
I love this edgy one with all the wild pieces. I’m a fan of layers and making them work to flatter your face shape.

I love this one for its unique shape and the little flare of hair on the side, as well as the intense color.
I really love the color placement and cut for this, but for practicality’s sake I’d have to have the bangs/fringe much higher so I could see. I love the teal and I love the little point on the side.
This is such a fun color! I’m sure they had to go almost white blonde to get this lilac shade to show up, but it’s so cute. Fun cut, too.
I know exactly how to achieve this coloring in my hair, so I’m a fan. I love the turquoise-blue-black coloring.
I love this short straight red bob with the adorable fringe framing the eyes.
This cut has such straight lines that it really is all about the person’s face. The pale pink is cute for spring, but I think it would be hard for most people to pull off.

I really love this hair for the volume and the fringe swept over one eye. This style has really great volume.
I really like asymmetrical cuts and this one is no exception. It seems like the length radiates out from the very short left side to the longer right side. It’s really cute.
I really like this shaggy, full bob with a few extra long pieces. It’s definitely got a wild feel.
This is a fun short style with LOTS of layers. I particularly like the color placement with the highlights.
This one is adorable not only for the cut, which has lots and lots of layers and texture and volume going on, but also for the color placement. It’s so much fun.
This is an interesting fauxhawk with a braid. I know I’ve seen a lot of braids, but this is a really cool and unusual placement.
I love all the crazy waves and braids in this hair, as well as the purple threaded throughout.
The curls in this look really contrast nicely with the overall short pixie-like points of the rest of the hair.
I love all the volume in this layered bob.
I love this little black and red number. It’s got a lot of short layers to give volume at the crown.
Speaking of redheads…
This red hair made me sigh out loud in a dreamy fashion. I love the thick bangs framing the eyes and the color and everything about this hair! Every time I think eh, I prefer short hair, I see long hair like this that just wows me.
This is really fun color placement, though I’d swap the silver for hot pink, turquoise, purple or blue.
This is so cute! All the little threads of teal throughout the hair are so cute!
The side-braid here is adorable with the curl. I could see this being an elegant hairstyle for an event.

I hope this has given you some inspiration for cuts and colors today. I’ve certainly been inspired. Even if you don’t want a new cut, splashing color in a new way can really update your look. A good stylist will be able to help you figure out where to place color to emphasize what you want to pop, such as your eyes. They can also tell you where to cut to best flatter your face shape.
And of course, if you’re looking for even more hair inspiration with colors, cuts, styles and tips, check out my Hair board on Pinterest!
I’d like to see you with one side shorn and blended into the other side having a curved chin-length bob, maybe with contrasting-color fringes
I actually did that last year! I did it very very short on my right side, molded around my ear and longer on my left.
Wow, I am blown AWAY by some of those colors!! I am growing out at the moment and when I do that I get bored and always want to try some new color.
Yay! What are your favorite styles?
Oooh! Nifty pictures. I really like the red-purple one relatively close to the top. That one lock of hair that’s longer than all the rest looks cool. =]
Yeah it’s so cute!
OMG that rainbow hair is the stuff of dreams! And thanks Phyrra, I’m getting my hair cut tomorrow and couldn’t find any decent pictures of what I’d like, That smooth angled bob fourth from the top will do nicely!
Yay I’m glad I can help! I’m going to continue doing hair inspiration posts like these and keeping my board up on Pinterest I hope you post pix! At the very least, send me an email!
You’d look great in any of these cuts, and with your ever changing colors would totally make them even more amazing. I’d like the black/purple/braided one for myself, please. The (long) red is the color I wanted but didn’t get (insert tears here), and I love the length and curl of the last one.
I thought you’d like the black and purple braided one! It’s awesome, especially if you have natural texture.
gorgeous pics! are you thinking of restyling/cutting your hair again?? which one is your favorite? in the raquel welch picture, she is wearing a wig from her signature line, so you could always buy a few different styles and rock it out that way without the commitment!
I had to look up who she was *blush* I always end up doing something different whenever I get my hair cut. I just recently got a trim, so I’ve got a few more weeks. I may add a splash more of color.
These are all so pretty! I’m stuck in-between styles while I let my layers grow out. I had a short pixie cut and am working towards a very short (ear-lobe length) bob. I wish I had the patience to grow my fringe out, though but I never can…
I always am torn on if I want it long or short. I know I always want color!
oh wow all these hair styles and colors are amaaaaazing! I asked my bf if he likes the length it’s at now or if I should cut it, because I’m at that plateau where my hair isn’t growing much anymore. But he wants me to grow it out longer. I kind of agree, even though it’s frustrating, so I will keep on trying.
I wonder if you can take any supplements to promote hair growth.
I actually gave myself an undercut recently, and I added a super-short fringe the other day. I wish I could dye my hair some funky color, though, but since I’m looking for a job I have to be careful. So I’m stuck with black (growing it out) and silver for the time being.
Yay for fun cuts!

Or I can just let my husband hack at my hair and see what happens LOL To me, it’s just hair. I mean I don’t want to look like a mangy dog but I know an oops will grow back. But he gets so worried–but always does a great job.
I need to redo my hair–that long rainbow ‘do is incredible! I just can’t pull off long anymore. Too much care and my hair is getting way too thin.
The rainbow is so amazing! Oh! Redken sells a shampoo/conditioner for women that is made to help thinning hair.

I LOVE the last picture, its amazing. That’s the hair I’m trying to get right now, but even the colour is awesome, I just dyed blue the bangs and the front left side of my hair, the rest is my original colour. I don’t think I’d look good in that orange unfortunately
It is so beautiful!
Thank you so much for posting this. I need to get a cut since I’m growing my hair out, but have been unsure on what to get. Loving Jennie Garth’s look, but will have to wait until my front length grows out more.
Aww! Sounds good though!
Wow, I am so flattered to be featured on your website (rainbow hair)! It’s awesome to know that my skills as a professional can be an inspiration to others. Thanks so much!

I like burgundy style. I feel like a little girl trying to be good as what mothers do. I like all hair styles you posted.
