Blue for Autism Awareness Month

While I’ve been wearing my toes as blue for Autism Awareness month (Illamasqua Phallic with Cult Nails Hypnotize Me on top), I wanted to do a blue manicure for the cause too. Autism is near and dear to me because so many people are impacted by and have children who are at various ends of the spectrum of Autism.

Blue:
Cult Nails Get It On Base Coat
Orly Royal Navy (2 coats)
Cult Nails Hypnotize Me
Out the Door Top Coat

Black:
Cult Nails Get It On Base Coat
Finger Paints Where Art Renoir? (2 coats)
Orly Prisma Gloss in Silver
Out the Door Top Coat

Do you have a loved one with Autism? Did you wear blue this month for Autism Awareness?

All products purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

I’ve known a lot of people with Autism, but the ones who stand out the most are the ones I went to school with, particularly elementary school. It bothers me now, but none of the adults thought to explain to us what Autism was or why these kids were “different”. So in consequence a lot people treated them cruelly because they didn’t understand. I always favor education over “just pretend nothing is going on”.
