I did a spring look based off of spring flowers, specifically the hyacinth. This particular flower was my inspiration. I love blue and purple, and the hyacinth is really a gorgeous flower. It does have a lot of variety, too. This is the look that I’m wearing in my Soft Kitty Warm Kitty OotD post. This turned out to be a great look with my glasses.
I’ve got instructions on how I achieved the look at the end of this post.

MAC Imaginary – thickly applied along upper lash line and blended out

I started by mixing LaVanilla The Healthy Face SPF 40 with MAC Strobe Cream and applying that to my face and neck and eyes. I used NARS Smudge Proof eyeshadow primer on the lid and lower lid. With a flat concealer brush I applied MAC Imaginary widely along the upper lash line and blended the edges up. I then applied Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream 21 Turquoise to the rest of the lid, the inner v, the lower lash line area and the crease and blended the edges.
I took Fyrinnae Blue Whale and applied it to my lid and crease and lower lash line, blending upwards and outwards. I used Fyrinnae Javan Rhino at my inner v. I used a blending brush and Urban Decay Frigid and blended upwards and inwards in the crease, as well as to the outer eye area and under the outer lash line. I used Illamasqua Vow pencil right under my eyebrows, then applied Illamasqua Static to the browbone, the inner corners of the eye and the center of the lid. I dusted a bit of Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Pure Opal on the center of the lid.
I lined my lower waterline with Illamasqua Debonair. I used Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion along the outer 1/2 of the lower lash line. I used MAC Petrol Blue liner along the outer 3/4 of the lower lash line, on top of Perversion. I used Urban Decay Frigid to fill in my brows.
For the rest of my face I applied NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 in Finland to my face and blended downwards to my neck. I took some NARS Orgasm Illuminator as a sort of liquid blush. I used a bit of NARS Copacabana Illuminator to highlight. With a small brush I applied Illamasqua Heroine as a contour shade, and then I used Urban Decay Freelove as blush, blending with my finger tips. I finished off my face with a mixture of Silk Naturals Illuminating Finishing Powder in Flattery and Oil Control Blur Finishing Powder.
For my lashes I curled my lashes and then used Smashbox Lash Primer, quickly followed by the Too Faced Nylon fibers. I finished with Milani Runway Lashes Mascara.
For my lips I took a lip brush and applied Artisan Beauty Lipstick in Dancing Xenia. I topped them off with Revlon lipgloss in Sunset Peach.
This look turned out to be fantastic with my glasses on, so I was happy to share it.
You can definitely see this time around that the NARS Tinted Moisturizer does add a bit more color to my face than the Sheer Matte or Sheer Glow.
What do you think of the look? How about the cheeks?
