Thanks to Milani being one of the sponsors at the March Central Florida Beauty Bloggers Meetup in Orlando, I had the opportunity to try out several of their eye shadows that I’d been lusting over. The colors I received to try out are: Peaches and Cream, Must Have Fuchsia, Antigua, Green Fortune, Golden Touch and Copper Excess.
Baked Eyeshadow Marbles
Peaches and Cream is a great light peach, almost like a creamsicle.
Green Fortune is awesome! It looks like a more pigmented version of Bare Escentuals Urban Nature, as it’s a green with copper and gold and pink threaded through it.
Must Have Fuchsia is an intense fuchsia pink. LOVE!
Copper Excess is a rich penny copper orange.
Antigua is a deeper green with gold and copper sparks. It’s almost a deeper version of Green Fortune.
Golden Touch is such a pretty light golden shade. It’s almost iridescent on the skin.
$7.49 from Milani, but you can also find it at CVS and other fine establishments.
Milani is a cruelty-free brand.
I find Peaches & Cream to really be an eye brightener on me. Green Fortune is such an interesting and complex shade! If you love greens you need it. Antigua is a perfect crease color with it. You knew I’d love Must Have Fuchsia. Bright Pink! So much fun!
The way I swatched these was the left side of the swatch is on bare skin. The swatch on the right side is on primer. The colors have good texture and I like the pigmentation. They actually remind me of mineral eye shadows.
Overall I’m happy with these shades! I’m glad I’ve been able to play with them. I’ve tested them out for wear as single color washes (different shades on each eye, so I didn’t do FOTDs).
Would I purchase?
Yes! I think I need to get Teal the Truth and Mix It Up. I think if you like mineral eye shadow texture but don’t always like the loose formula, you should give these baked eye shadows a try.
Do you like Milani cosmetics? Have you tried their baked eye shadows?
Products sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Note: If you have dry eyelids, use a “sticky” primer with these things.
Golden Touch and Peaches and Cream look like must haves to me!
They’re nice neutrals.
I wanted Green Fortune, but chose Fusion instead. I also have Peaches and Cream and like it for a highlighter shade.
I’m not convinced that Milani is cruelty-free. They are not on the PETA-approved list. I have tried several times to get clarity from them, but they are evasive. I was referred to their Product Development and Marketing team but they never replied. I don’t have a warm and fuzzy feeling that they are one of the “good guys.”
I know that there are several companies who have not paid to be on the PETA approved list who are cruelty-free. From what I’ve been able to research, they are cruelty-free but not vegan.
I love peaches and cream, golden touch and antigua. I’ve been trying to track them down in my area.
You may have better luck online at Cherry Culture.
Loving peaches and cream!! It’s a versatile color and neutral enough for my taste.
I bet it looks great on you!
These are really pretty — I love the Fuchsia a lot. Peaches and Cream seems like a great shade to wear when I just want to even out my eyelid tone and be done with it. Hmmm, pretty. I’m going to have to scope out the local drugstore soooooon…
It is pretty sparkly though
I have green fortune and antigua and I love them!
Yay glad you like them Helen!
You should get teal the truth and mix it up!! Mix it up is gorgeous!
I keep looking for them and they’re always out. I’m going to have to order them online
Thanks for the swatches! I was wondering if anyone can think of a similar color to the peaches & cream color. I don’t like the amount of fall outs from this shadow but I love the shade! Can someone please suggest a dupe for it? Thanks!!
Milani is definitely becoming a top drugstore brand for me.
HI there. I definitely take your recommendations into consideration when purchasing. I have always kept your blog on my toolbar:) My inbox is crazy, but I have since signed up to receive your newsletter. This definitely has helped me decide which ones I want. I have one and needed to choose a couple more. I love that drugstore products are really stepping up:) Take care. Props to the short hair girls!
I bought Antigua yesterday based on this review. Can’t wait to use it :) My first Milani purchase!
