Silk Naturals Blush in Petal Video Review

Hi there! I’m doing a video and written review on the Silk Naturals Blush in Petal. I created this video for my friend Jen at MyBeautyBunny but I also wanted to share the review with you here.

Read on to see the rest of the review.

The Website Claims:
Petal is a slightly warmish very light pink blush that’s matte with no shimmer. It’s our clone of Benefit’s Dandelion pink blush! A note about clones: We clone products so you can have the colors that you love, but with much better ingredients. Because we don’t use talc, bismuth oxychloride, binders, petroleum products or preservatives in our color formulas there may be some slight differences between the original and the SN clone.

Ingredients:
Mica, Silk Powder, Silica, Iron Oxide, FD&C Color

Price:
$6.50 for a 10 gram jar, $1.25 for a sample jar.

Does it live up to its claims?
Yes.

Would I purchase again?
Yes!

I purchased the sample size of this product and then later purchased the full size because I liked the color and it really works for my complexion. A little gives me a sheer hint of blush. A lot gives me a just flushed like I ran or got a slight sunburn. It’s a very natural matte shade on me. This might work as a nice glow on darker skintones. It might even work as a complexion perk if dusted with a fiber optic brush all over.

What do you think of Petal? Do you like Silk Naturals blushes?

Product purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

I love your videos! Petal looks like a beautiful color. I’ve never tried any of their blushes. x

Aww thank you! SN makes some great blushes in both powder and cream formula.

A very pretty colour! I recently tried a few blushes from Silk Naturals; I got Cosmic, Tart, and Galaxy. Galaxy ended up being my favourite. I didn’t have any blush similar to it at all in my collection as it wasn’t a colour I’d usually go for but I ended up loving it.
