Urban Decay Must Have Moonshine

Arg! I’m so mad I didn’t pick this up sooner. Whenever the Urban Decay Urbanglow Cream Highlight products came out, I popped into Ulta to swatch them. All 3 were out of their display place on the shelves so I asked the MUA if I could see Moonshine to swatch it. She must have handed me Wicked, because I was like ‘this is way too dark for my skin as a highlight,’ and wrote it off. Recently I saw it for sale and picked it up. It’s for sale right now at Urban Decay for $6. If you want a pale iridescent pink highlight, pick this up!

Price:
$6 right now on UrbanDecay.com

3 colors available:
Moonshine, Wicked, Brown Sugar

Ingredients:
Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Phenyl Trimethicone, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Silica, Polyethylene, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Pearl Powder, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Retinyl Palmitate. Mica, CI 77491/77492/77499 (Iron Oxides), CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide).

You can see the subtle pink iridescence on my skin.

I used it as a highlighter on my face in my Sparkly Prom Look.

I also used it in my super quick look to add a pretty highlight. It’s more visible here.

Do I recommend it?
Yes! I regret not buying it earlier, but being able to snag it for $6 makes up for that. It’s definitely worth it at that price.

What’s one thing you hesitated on purchasing (for whatever reason), and once you purchased, you ended up loving?

Product purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

I got it in the Hautelook sale, along with Wicked. I’ll eventually try it out. (Not wearing makeup right now.)

Ooh I want to know what you think of Wicked as a blush.

I just got Wicked, Moonshine, and Brown Sugar from Hautelook. I had looked at these before, but I couldn’t make myself justify the price. Snagging them for $6 was awesome, even though that probably means they are being discontinued. I used Wicked today. I loved how smoothly it glided on. I’ll have to give Moonshine a try tomorrow. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make Brown Sugar work, but they apply pretty sheer, so I’ll try it out.

I held out for quite a while on buying Nars Sheer Matte foundation, and I love it. I’m going to have a hard time using my other ones now.

        Yeah $6 is a steal :)

I almost picked this up when I made my UD haul on HauteLook. GRRR!! Why didn’t I? :-(

      • Phyrra

It’s still available at UD’s site.

I definitely regret not getting Bobbi Brown’s Stonewashed Nudes palette when it was available. Gorgeous gorgeous shades! Luckily, I just recently found it through a professional makeup artist’s blog I follow for a very decent price. Far less than I wouldve had to pay for it on eBay, where it’s priced criminally high, and less than the original price. Brand new, still boxed! Total deal of the year :-) Can’t wait til it arrives so I can start playing with it! :-) I also regret putting off my initial order to Fyrinnae, although once I started I quickly made up for it. Not to mention how long it took me to finally start buying some Tarte products. Love their gel liners & cream eyeshadows! As for the many products I REGRET buying, that’s a whole nother story LOL
