Recently I had the opportunity to try out Dorian and Dahl custom blended perfumes. Today I’ve got the Book Blend My Great Sin to review.
A small reminder that scents are subjective. I tend to like fruity, exotic florals, amber and vanilla.

Unfortunately for Will, that curse that’s kept him from true love doesn’t really exist. Bummer. Double bummer, said true love is engaged to the only other person he cares about: his parabati Jem. Poor guy just can’t catch a break. Though, at least he doesn’t have demon pox…
Intoxicating jasmine florals, fresh brewed hibiscus tea and powdery sandalwood embrace withdrawn vetiver and bawdy sage, all surrounded by sticky sweet demon’s blood smoke.
I was curious to try this scent because I don’t typically go for smoky scents. This is a very masculine scent on me with my body chemistry. Initially I smell jasmine and then it dries down to hints of sandalwood and smoke. It lasted for about 5 hours on me.
I think a lot of indie perfumes use smoke as a scent, but the few times I’ve tried them it’s been overpowering with my body chemistry. This manages to work with me. It’s probably the most masculine scent that I’ve liked.
If you like unisex scents or scents that lean masculine, you will like My Great Sin.
Product sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.
