I picked up some more Ricky’s NYC Mattese Elite products from Hautelook. I’ve been on a peach kick, so I snagged some peachy blushes and a few eyeshadows. You can see my first set of swatches of Ricky’s NYC Mattese Elite here.
These are all swatched on bare skin.
Peaches and Cream – light peachy-apricot blush
Nudity – light bronze blush
Fluffy – light creamy white
Spot Light – sheer dirty platinum with gold sheen and silver glitter
Orgasmic Blue – midnight blue on a black base
Spot Light is really an unusual shade and I like how it has both gold and silver elements. I layered it over Orgasmic Blue and was surprised with the results.
Again, I really like the pigmentation and the smooth feeling of these shadows.. The blushes swatched nicely but I haven’t worn them yet so I can’t speak to their wear.
Would I purchase?
Absolutely. I’ll purchase any colors from Mattese Elite that I see that I like because I like their formula, pigmentation and blendability.
Products purchased by me. All opinions are my own.
Spotlight is calling me. Vijaya. Viiiiiijayaaaaaaa. xD
It’s so cute!
I think Spotlight is interesting too; not sure how I’d feel about having it, since I prefer true silvers. It does look really cool over Orgasmic Blue (which also looks really cool on its own)!
Yeah I was happy to try layering them, I don’t do that often enough.
