Recently I had the opportunity to try out the beautiful NARS Liberté blush. Liberté is the French word for freedom, and NARS created this versatile burnished apricot to give a fresh, warm, effortless glow to the skin. As I’ve been in love with peaches and corals lately, this blush seemed an obvious choice.

NARS Blush offers a range of translucent, natural shades, each with a subtle pink for natural blush undertone, created to highlight the complexion. Designed to be worn alone or layered together for more depth, NARS Blush provides a healthy glow to flatter any skintone.
Matte skin looks fresh for summer. Use Liberté Blush to sculpt, contour, or warm any skin tone.
Liberté looks scary in the pan. it looks deep, fiery orange. However, once you swatch it on the skin you’ll see that it’s a gorgeous apricot-coral with hints of red. To me it is reminiscent of a terracotta roof tile color.
It is very finely milled and though it’s a matte, I swear it has an almost lit from within gleam to it when it’s on your face. It’s just so beautiful on the skin. I swatched it heavily on the left side of the swatch and lightly on the right side.
Wearing Liberté on the cheeks and Makeup Geek Purely Naked on the eyes.
On me, it gives a gorgeous warm peachy-apricot color.
It’s extremely pigmented, so be sure to blend the edges well. If you’re fair skinned, you’ll need to use a duofiber brush and a light hand to apply it. I think this is a blush that would be fabulous on darker skintones. If you’ve got a tan this will be the perfect compliment to it. If you’re deeper-toned, I think this will give you an amazing glow. As I’ve been craving peaches, corals and now apricots for the summer months, this blush is perfect for the season.
Would I purchase?
Yes. It’s a gorgeous blush and surprisingly I have nothing similar to it in my collection. It feels like you’re getting a lot of product for the price because it’s so pigmented and you need to little to achieve a gorgeous flush.
Product sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Wow! Thanks for sharing. I didn’t think this would work well on fair skin, but it gives a nice summery warmth. I wonder if this could be like a bronzer alternative for fair skin actually.
This is a beautiful blush! I’ll definitely be adding it to my wishlist….for this year’s Sephora F&F Sale hahahhahaa

This looks very similar to La Femme blush in Peach, which I very recently picked up from Camera Ready Cosmetics. Only $2.50 a pan and ridiculously pigmented, blendable & buildable. La Femme has the most gorgeous blush for just pennies! Try Mandarine Red ( not red at all, actually) & Mocha. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! They also make tons of different shades!
