Recently I had the opportunity to try NARS Summer eyeshadow trio Ramatuelle. It’s named for a village in the the French Riviera Côte d’Azur region of France.
The Website Claims:
A trio of harmonious, color combinations of eyeshadow shades. Worn alone or together, all Trio Eyeshadow shades feature micro-fine powders that are highly pigminted, longwearing and crease resistant. Color glides on smoothly, evenly and blends effortlessly.
-True color application
-Can be applied dry or with a dampened brush for stronger intensity.
-Multi-funtion use for shading, lining and highlighting the eyes.
The most magical effects are achieved by layering several colors. You may no longer see the individual shades used, but together they create a multi-dimensional look with depth and intensity.
$45 for .15 oz
NARS describes this trio as silver, icy peach and matte apricot.
I swatched all three colors on bare skin as well as on Meow Light Primer.
The silver has a beautiful gleam to it, making it work well as a highlight shade on the browbone or inner corners of the eye. It could work as a lid shade on a primer.
The peach is a soft, pale peach that I personally love with my eye color. It is an eye brightening lid shade for me.
The apricot is sort of an orange shade with a satiny matte finish. It makes for a ‘natural’ sort of contour shade. and compliments the peach.
I really like all three of these colors. I’ve been loving peach shades this season and this trio is no exception. I feel like this trio would be flattering for a variety of skintones because of the peach being an eye brightening shade, the silver being an icy highlighter and the matte apricot making for a sophisticated contour or more natural liner shade.
Would I purchase it?
Yes! It has been on my wish list!
Possible ways to wear it:
Peach on the lid, Apricot to contour and the lower lash line, blending Peach & Silver in the upper crease, highlighting with Silver under the eyebrows and at the inner corner of the eye.
Apricot on the lid and lower lash line, Peach in the upper crease, Silver to highlight
Silver on the inner lid and Peach on the outer lid, Apricot to deepen the crease, a tiny bit of Silver to highlight
Silver on the lid, Apricot in the crease, a tiny bit of Peach to highlight.
What do you think of this trio for summer? How would you wear it?
Product sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.

The more I read reviews on this, the more I like it!
They are such pretty shades. My only fear is them disappearing on my skin.

These are pretty. I have NARS duos and singles and I have noticed that my singles give more pigmentation and are easier to blend for some reason. I have to admit that I hate when my packaging gets yucky looking and I cannot clean it. I wish the pricing was a bit better for the quality. I do like them, but in comparison to other brands that are less in price I don’t have the NARS itch as I once did. Although, I love their lipsticks. I cannot get enough Senorita…it lasts for hours. Thanks for your post.
